How many permutations of the seven letters A,B,C,D,E,F,G have A

immediately to the left of E?

(a)2*5! (b)6! (c)5*6! (d)7!-2*6! (e)None of the above

他的意思是A都會在E的左邊

那不是應該假設A在第一個位置 + A在第二個位置且E在右邊 +

             ...+ AE在第六、七個位置的方法總和嗎

可是解答的部分是直接把A放在第一位置然後右邊六個任意排列 所以6!

還是我對題目的意思解讀有誤  請指教

這題 他已經持有四張會中獎的票 怎麼還會有贏得的方法數呢..有點不懂..

Let A(包含於)P2 be the vector space spanned by polynomials

x^2+2x+1 , x+2 , x^2-x-1 and let B(包含於)P2 be the vector space

spanned by 1,x,x^2. Describe the difference set

A-B ≡{f(x):f(x)屬於Ａ,f(x)不屬於B}

Note : The space spanned by polynomials includes all polymails that
       can be written as a linear combination of those polymials.

這題是要找出A和B的差集吧 可是A和B不都是生成P2嗎  那差集應該是空集合吧?

可是解答寫的不太懂..

推 metalalive:第二題原意其實是, "如果"有人拿到 ticket 編號 2,4,8,
→ metalalive:,16 , 那此人會拿走所有獎項
→ metalalive:題目問的是, 此人的中獎方法數為何 ? 應該是假設這個人
→ metalalive:可以先拿4個獎項中的哪個獎項...的問題,屬排列問題
