五月初在巴西的綠黨會議, 在尋求關於各種氣候危機的行動方案, 歡迎提供構想: 21 points for the Greens 21st century climate action plan Give us your ideas! Send your suggestions for the document, visiting http://plan21.globalgreens.org/. The purpose of the Greens is to bring Green ideas into power. This is your opportunity to contribute ideas to the Greens' 21st century climate action plan, which will be adopted at Global Greens 2008 in Sao Paulo Brazil (1-4 May 1008). Ideas for action should cover all fields relating to how we meet the climate crisis: political, social, environmental, cultural, economic and more. They may be local, global or anything in between. They should be action oriented. They should be political in orientation (because we are a political movement). They can be specific proposals for action or ideas for how to organise. They must be consistent with the Principles of the Global Greens Charter. They will preferably come from Greens parties, political movements and groups. But they may come from like-minded individuals also. They will be categorised by country, scope (local, regional, national, global), field of action (political, social, environmental, cultural, economic), type (organisational, issue oriented, local government etc) and subject (e.g. climate refugees, nuclear power, food security, role of the UN etc). Ideas will be entered on a computer register so that they can be sorted in many different ways and are accessible to everyone. You will be able to search for all ideas from Russia, or all those relating to nuclear power, or all those which relate to local government for example. (NB The site will be moderated and suggestions which are inconsistent with the Principles of the Charter will not be accepted.) The Global Greens Coordination will use the ideas to draft the Greens 21 points for the 21st century climate action plan. This will draw upon the ideas submitted and be published as a draft for further discussion. A final draft will be submitted to Global Greens 2008 for discussion and adoption. Note that all ideas will be accessible on the web page and Greens parties and political movements around the world will be encouraged to draw upon them to develop their own plans. Don't forget that you can contribute to the document, visiting http://plan21.globalgreens.org/. Manfred (at) Westermayer.de # We are greens (25% members of green parties), organized worldwide, and using the inter-national and neutral language Esperanto. Since 1984 we are in contact with the European Greens, and e.g. we translated the Global Greens Charter of Canberra (2001) into Esperanto. # Our aim is to support the communication between the languages, and Esperanto created by green priciples: all humans are of equal worth, and also all languages. Esperanto has a wide literature, and we use it for spreading the Green Issues in the Esperanto community. # We would like to present and discuss the "Contribution for language policy inside the Greens", tabled in the European Green conference in Geneva, 2006 by french Greens; pitiously it was not treated. This contribution also calls for the usage of English using native english idiomatics only sparsely, and to explore the potential of Esperanto for Green intercommunication. # Lucas and some other - green thinking - brazil students will present Esperanto and Green Esperantists (AVE) to you in Sao Paulo. Occupational and environmental health - natural partners <http://plan21.globalgreens.org/plan21_about#comment-1> Submitted by Valence Young on Sun, 03/09/2008 - 14:13. Hi folks, I strongly suggest that when you include occupational health whenever possible within the scope of environmental health issues. Workers are exposed to the same hazardous materials that contaminate the environment and the communities beyond industry property. Collective and individual voices are suppressed by the fear that speaking out about occupational and environmental health could cost jobs. We are led to believe that lifestyle issues rather than occupational and environmental exposures are the primary source of rising cancer rates. Independent research consistently shows that the opposite is true. So please consider occupational and environmental health together, wherever possible in your considerations. Many thanks for the opportunity to contribute.
