Grizzlies
Even though he looked like he was going to cry when Memphis called
his name , Hakim Warrick is a good fit for the Grizz. He's a Jerry
West player , in the same type of specialist mold that makes Shane
Battier and Dahntay Jones so valuable to the franchise. If Warrick
plays  up   to his potential , he could  make Stromile  Swift very
expendable, very quickly.

19 . Mem -  Hakim Warrick, PF: Warrick gets saved and Memphis gets
a pretty good talent . At 6-9, with long , long arms , a good work
ethic and an improving outside game , he'll be OK. He doesn't have
a set position and his "upside" may not be overwhelming, but he'll

HAKIM  WARRICK ,  SF , SYRACUSE: Predictably , Memphis ended Hakim
Warrick's slide   --   Jerry  West knows a steal when he sees one.
Considering  Stromile Swift is  likely  gone and  Lorenzen  Wright
wants  out , there might  be immediate  playing  time for  Warrick
alongside Pau Gasol.
