Houlton was followed to the mound by another rookie, Hong-Chih Kuo,
who continues to look like he will never see Triple-A. After allowing a bloop
double to Gonzalez, Kuo struck out Chad Tracy and Tony Clark, giving him nine
strikeouts in five innings, and retired Troy Glaus on a flyout to the warning
track.
"We're experimenting with him," said Tracy, "and thus far he's passing the test
with flying colors."

隨先發投手Houlton之後上場的是另一個菜鳥郭泓志 , 一個持續看起來像是將永遠不會去
三A的投手..而在被Gonzalez擊出二壘安打之後, 郭泓志三振了Chad Tracy及Tony Clark ,
這也使得他在僅五局的投球中三振了九個人次 , 最後也讓Troy Glaus擊出高飛球出局
總教練崔西表示:"我們正在測試他" , 而直到目前他在通過這個測試過程中是相當成功的.
