  大進展：本來只是為了磨練控球的目的而刻正在3A先發的左投手郭泓志，似乎將促使
  球團高層考慮要不要使他改練先發投手。郭在今年7月4日時被躲人下放，在週六的比
  賽中，投六局只被打出4支安打，失掉一分，並於打擊時擊出了滿貫砲，率隊以6-2的
  分數打敗了Fresno灰熊隊。
  郭在7月31日被太平洋岸聯盟選為該週最佳投手，於當週他出了10局無失分的佳績。
