你還要補修的話，我可以陪你暑修XD

「跟當初我預想自己上台大的生活是這麼的不一樣」

我現在的生活跟我預想的也很不一樣唉..
尤其是他媽的出了車禍之後..
超懷念暑假的時候常常一天可以騎一百多公里的日子..

「因為我不知道為什麼要讀這些」

那你還比我好一點，
我大一的時候連我在讀什麼都不知道XD
即使到現在我都很難說我在讀什麼東西，
我只能說這個過程大概是在慢慢摸索，
不斷地給自己在讀的東西下定義然後一再修正。
哲學給我的感覺是你只能說什麼不是什麼，
但是要說什麼是什麼卻很困難。
我常常在上一門課的時候從抱著許多信念開始，
結束的時候卻是比一開始更為無知。
例如我一開始認為一些哲學家在討論科學理論演進的邏輯結構非常迷人，
讀到後來發就會現這個領域會有很多爭論，
一個接著一個的哲學家被別的哲學家批判，
到後來你會發現你連什麼是知識、什麼是真理都不知道，
然後最後一擊就是我們最後發現
哲學的討論是nonsense，我們應該要直接參與科學研究。
於是我們繞了一大圈回到原點，
結果只是證明要從哲學證成科學的企圖完全失敗。

「絕的老師爛課程爛」

老師爛可以不要修，
如果是必修就今年退掉明年換別的老師開時再修，
我就是這樣幹的，
雖然結果是很慘痛沒錯。（當然如果每年都是同一個人開就只好認了吧..）
課程爛可以轉系、轉學，
台大哲學歡迎你。
不想轉系轉學的話，
其實台大選課很自由，
只要你臉皮厚，別系的課都可以上，
像現在哲學系就很沒有尊嚴，
明明是進階的課程卻充斥外系，
本系的同學也不爭氣，
程度還比別人差= =
所以我日前已經跟教授討論了一下，
如果今年暑假我真的發瘋的話
我也要進攻別系了，暑修微甲跟普物！

「因為我實在找不到念書的動力...」

這種感覺偶而有之很正常，
畢竟台大一個學期真的太長了，
想想看，平均一個禮拜要讀200頁原文、要用英文寫摘要、要上台報告、要發問討論，
這樣子搞18週就算是上帝也要發瘋，
可是如果你一直有這種感覺的話，
哲學系歡迎你。

抱歉已經先被我借走了XD
我還沒有開始看，
不過從別處得知大概是一個心理學學者的書，
在討論教育與學習。

The Structure of Scientific Revolution, Thomas Kuhn

講科學革命的名著，
沒有聽過這本書不要說你是台大畢業的。
（幹，可是我目前也沒時間看..）

Indeed, it is very hard to realize that the world of academy and that of
daily life are of fundamental difference in that the former is by its nature
an ivory tower. Plato's dualism of intelligible world and sensible one best
illustrates this point. That is why many people should not have attended
university: they live in this world of phenomena and do not want to care about
anything abstract.

I confess that I also sometimes think about this and find
that I am between the two worlds: philosophical debates are both
interesting and boring.
When I feel that it is interesting, I despise those who are laymen of it. But
when I feel that it is boring, I ask: why should I care about such nonsense?
Is it not true that 1+1=2, that our external world exists, that science is
true, that talks of God make no sense, that food and money is much more
important, that billiards is much more interesting, that riding a bike into
mountains is much more exciting than sitting in front of desk and asking silly
philosophical questions?

So, whether the meaning of life is also a philosophical question, though it
surely is not, don't ask for a definite answer. It consists of giving what
you are doing right now a meaning, no matter what, inexorably and believing
in it and nothing else. Nobody can help you, unless at the outset your
will is free.
