◎目前現場情況：
從四月二日(五)晚上七點開始
由原先的八位發起人，有台大：兩位陳同學、陶同學、趙同學、李同學、洪同學，
逢甲：田同學，還有一位輔大的同學；至發稿為止，有兩人已連續絕食30小時以上。
後來陸續有東吳、清華、東南技術學院、甚至還有國中生當場加入靜坐。
共計已有廿多人報名參與，目前有十人左右在現場。
◎注意事項：
1.絕食靜坐活動－依照個人體力，自行決定要撐多久。
2.靜坐時間可以看書(以準備期中考)、喝水。
3.現場提供：口罩、布條、雨衣、水、毛毯、暖暖包...等物資。
4.現場有醫護人員，為同學定時量血壓，監控生理有無異常狀況。
ps.希望大家能幫忙將此訊息散佈至各大專院校好友們或學聯會等學生組織及各個您所能上
的bbs版！有意參加者，可個別至現場報名，更歡迎組團參與！有關此學生運動之五點訴求
，也許不是每個人都贊同，但任何訴求都會依運動之發展，而有所修正，只要當中有與您
理念相符者，不分藍綠，請勇敢站出來加入靜坐之列！

我們決定走出課堂，在這裡靜坐、絕食，表達我們最深沉的抗議。
Our decision to step out the classroom and sit still for hunger strike aims to
express our deepest protestation.
我們曾經相信知識的力量，可是，我們發現，在當今的台灣社會，詐術居然可以凌駕於知
識，政治成為爾虞我詐的賭局，官場成為騙徒的天堂，真假不分，是非不明，黑白莫辯，
我們所學何用？
We used to believe the power of knowledge. Yet when we come to realize the fact
that wicked tricks are overriding knowledge, politics falls into a cheating
gamble, government becomes a paradise of fraud, the lines between the true and
the wrong, the right and the false, the black and the white is no longer
discernable, we have to ask: what is our learning for?
我們曾經相信，台灣是我們安身立命的地方，我們將在這裡奮鬥、打拼，用知識、心血創
造我們的未來。可是，我們發現，這是一個嚴重撕裂的社會，政客為了爭奪權力，不惜切
割族群，不惜煽動仇恨，在割喉肉搏的選戰中，扼殺了一切理性辯證的空間，我們所學何
用？
We used to believe that Taiwan is a place where we root our lives, struggling
and striving, in terms of our knowledge and effort, to create a beautiful
future. Yet when we come to realize that this is a society seriously riven;
politicians for their power are pitilessly incising different ethnical groups
and fueling the ethnical hatred and diminish all room of reasonable dialectic
in this bloodthirsty campaign, we have to ask: what is our learning for?
我們曾經相信，台灣擁有一個公平競爭的環境，只要努力，就有光明美好的未來。可是，
我們發現，一個權貴集團正在滋生壯大，官商勾結、內線交易成為社會常態，貧者愈貧，
富者愈富，勞動的價值不如拍馬逢迎，知識份子不如奴僕內侍。
We used to believe Taiwan is an environment of fair competition, where only the
effort is made, the future promised. Yet we come to realize that a faction of
bonding power and money is burgeoning, the insider dealing and conspiracies of
corrupted authorities and speculative businessmen appear "normal"; the richer
the rich gets, the poorer the poor; working hard is far less than flattery, and
the intellectual is much more inferior to courtiers.
我們不分藍綠，要求真相，不容政客以詭詐圖謀篡奪權位。
Regardless of the Blue and the Green, we want the truth, and do not allow the
politicians to usurp power by fraud and injustice.
我們不分藍綠，反對歧視，不容政客煽動族群仇恨，將台灣帶往法西斯的血腥絕路。
Regardless of the Blue and the Green, we oppose discrimination, and do not
allow the politicians to fuel the ethnical hatred and bring Taiwan into the
bloody Fascism impasse.
我們不分藍綠，願意燃燒青春，爭取一個符合正義、公平原則的未來。
Regardless of the Blue and the Green, we are willing to flame our youth for a
future measured by the principles of justice and righteousness.
我們要的是一個可以被監督的政府，而不是要人民閉嘴的政府，我們絕食、靜坐，不言不
語，以最寧靜的方式，表達我們最深沉的抗議，表達我們不服從的權利。
We want a government we can supervise, not the one reproaching people "Shut Up!
" We sit still, no a word uttered, in the most silent way to roar for our
deepest protestation and express our right of disobedience.
我們呼籲全國的知識青年，加入我們，在被撕裂的台灣社會中，勇敢的扮演屬於我們的角
色，將繼續延燒那一把民主的光榮火炬。
We now call on the intellectual youths all over this country to join us, to
play a brave and true role which has long destined to us, and to continue the
blazing of the democratic honorable torch.
◎ 我們的五點訴求如下：
Our five appeals are as follow:
1. 要求藍綠兩陣營對於過去四年憲政僵局，政治亂象，向人民公開道歉。
We demand the Blue and the Green to make a public apology for the
constitutional impasses and political turmoil in the past four years.
2. 要求以特別法成立真相調查委員會（並比照適用228陳文成，林義雄血案）。
Following the precedents of 228, and the homicide cases of Chen Wen Chen and
Lin Yi Hsun, we demand the government to set up a Special Truth-Investigation
Committee.
3. 要求朝野立刻通過族群平等法，並設置族群平等委員會。
We demand to pass the Law of Ethnical Equality and found the Ethnical Equality
Committee.
4. 要求陳水扁總統對破壞行政中立，不當操控媒體，不尊重國會，違背憲政精神公開道歉
We demand President Chen Sui Bian to make a public apology for his spoiling the
administrative impartiality, inappropriately manipulating the mass media,
disrespect for the Congress, and discrediting the spirit of the constitution.
5. 要求陳水扁總統公開承諾恪遵憲法，立即組成聯合政府，年底國會改選後，尊重國會多
黨組閣。
We demand President Chen Sui Bian to make a public promise for obeying the
constitution, promptly consisting of an united government, and endowing the
right to the majority of Congress to form a cabinet after the election of
legislator in the end of 2004.
