Hewitt may court Roche as next coach

Australia number one Lleyton Hewitt would be interested in
hiring Tony Roche following the coach's sudden split from
Roger Federer, his manager said on Monday.

分道揚鑣的Tony Roche擔任教練
Hewitt, who has struggled with form and a back injury since
winning the Las Vegas Open in March, has been without a fulltime
coach since Roger Rasheed quit the job shortly before the
Australian Open in January.
Hewitt在三月獲得拉斯維加斯公開賽冠軍後就飽受背部受傷之苦。而自今
年一月澳網前夕前教練Roger Rasheed辭職後，就未僱用一位全職的教練。
His compatriot Roche had coached world number one Federer on a
part-time basis from 2005, but the pair parted ways on Saturday,
just two weeks before the French Open.
他的澳洲同胞Roche自2005年開始擔任世界排名第一Federer的part-time教練，
而兩人在離法網開打兩星期前分道揚鑣。
Australian newspapers have speculated that Roche may link up with
Hewitt and the player's manager David Drysdale told reporters the
former world number one would be interested.
澳洲報紙預測Roche可能會轉而和Hewitt合作，Hewitt的經紀人David
Drysdale告訴記者Hewitt可能會有興趣請Roche擔任教練。
"I think he does need that little bit of extra support with him,
I know he's getting frustrated at the moment because he's doing
a lot of work and he's not getting the results," Drysdale told
Australian Broadcasting Corp radio.
"我覺得他需要一些額外幫助，我知道他目前感到有點沮喪，因為他做
了許多努力，但卻獲得很少成果。"
"There's been no contact at the moment no, I'll be having a talk
to Lleyton over the next couple of nights and seeing whether he
would like me to chase up Tony and see what's going on and then
we'll talk to Tony and just go from there."

Hewitt held the top ranking for a total of 80 weeks from 2001 to
2003 but has not won a grand slam title in almost five years and
has slipped to 22nd in the world.
Hewitt在2001年至2003年曾保持80周的世界冠軍，但已經五年未拿過大滿貫賽
冠軍，且目前世界排名下滑至22名。
