Bobcats sign big man Justin Williams
The Charlotte Bobcats are signing big man Justin Williams to an unguaranteed
contract after they worked him out late Wednesday afternoon.
Williams was recently waived by the Golden State Warriors after playing the
previous two season with the Sacramento Kings.“He’s a young, live, active
kid. So we’ll give him a chance,’’ said coach Larry Brown. “It will take
a little time because he probably doesn’t know what we’re doing right now.’

Bobcats advance scout Brendan O’Connor recommended Williams after coaching
him on the Sacramento staff.
A 6-10 power forward center, Williams played his college ball at Wyoming.
