Iverson out, 'Sheed questionable vs. Knicks

Allen Iverson (sore back) will still be out, and Rasheed Wallace (left calf)
is questionable for Wednesday night’s home game against the Knicks.

Wallace was scheduled to undergo an MRI exam this afternoon as a precaution.
The team doesn’t think it’s serious.


If he can’t go, Curry didn’t know who would start. He wants to see the
Knicks' starting lineup before making that call. He would choose between
Kwame Brown and Amir Johnson, who has seen his playing diminish recently.


As for Iverson, there is no timetable for his return, and Curry said that
even when Iverson is cleared by doctors, he won’t rush him back onto the
court.


“Once his doctor clears him, he’s still going to have to get some work in
before he can get out on the court,” Curry said. “We’re just waiting and
going to play it by ear.”
