2011年之後笑臉人可能留不住一些核心戰力：
秋信守將因薪資仲裁而加薪。A-Cab和Chris Perez也將透過仲裁加薪。
Grady Sizemore明年有9M的球團選擇權，今年爛掉的Carmona也有7M的球團選擇權。
Jim Thome可能成為自由球員，也有可能金盆洗手。
既然笑臉人的薪資額度不可能回到幾年前的水準，以上這些戰力勢必要有所損失。
除此之外，Rafael Perez、Joe Smith和大師之子也有權提請仲裁。
