No City deal for Coco
Italian left-back Francesco Coco has finished his trial at Manchester City
and will not be joining the club.
The player, currently with Inter Milan after being loaned to Livorno last
season, trained with the City squad at Carrington earlier this week.
Stuart says: “He had a couple of days with us but we did not want to waste
his time, because I know he was trying to get a club sorted out after being
out of the picture at Inter.
"We did not feel as if it was right, but we wish him all the best and if
anyone phones me I’ll give him a glowing report, but I did not feel as
though he was right for the club.”
