Ivanisevic set for Queen's Wednesday, 14 April, 2004 Goran Ivanisevic has accepted a wildcard for the Stella Artois Championships as he sets his sights on playing at Wimbledon again. The Croatian, runner-up at Queen's Club in 1997, is one of several big names who will be in action from 7-13 June. Defending champion Andy Roddick, three-time winner Lleyton Hewitt, Mark Philippoussis and Britain's Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski will also feature. "I love the tournament. It has its own tradition," said Ivanisevic. "The grass is completely different - it's so nice, it's like a hard court and the ball bounces high." Ivanisevic, who has been plagued by shoulder problems, is hoping to play at Wimbledon for the first time since he won the tournament in 2001. "Last year I was very close," said the 32-year-old. "I played at the Stella Artois but I didn't make it to Wimbledon. This year I hope I can come to Wimbledon as well." -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.175.227.203
