Juventus have a new goalkeeper after Milan allowed Christian Abbiati
to join their rivals on loan.

The 28-year-old has signed for the Turin giants on a one-year deal
following injury to Gigi Buffon.

Abbiati will become the club's first choice shot-stopper for at least
the next three months, while Buffon recovers from shoulder surgery.

Juventus swooped for Abbiati just days after the international
left Genoa following their demotion to Serie C.

He had previously agreed to join the port club on loan earlier
this summer but moved back to Milan this week.

Abbiati has spent the last seven years at Milan but has endured
a difficult last two seasons at the San Siro as Nelson Dida's No 2.
