 Stadium: the board gives the go-ahead 

The Juventus board of directors have given the go-ahead to Jean-Claude
Blanc to commit himself to Turin's candidature as a venue for the 2012
European Championships, the hosts of which will be announced on April 18th.
This date will be crucial, as the development of the Bianconeri's new
stadium project depends on whether Italy is awarded the championships and
whether the government offers the necessary financial guarantees.

The accounts for the financial term (October-December 2006) were also
approved during the course of the meeting.
