Poulsen sidelined for San Siro

Danish midfielder Christian Poulsen is set to miss out on Juventus' trip
to Inter after picking up an injury in training.

Claudio Ranieri had a depleted squad at his disposal this morning
due to international commitments, but Poulsen was amongst those
first-team players present.

It was to be a fateful session for the ex-Sevilla star,
who limped out of a practise game against the Bianconeri's youth team
after just 20 minutes.

It has been confirmed that Poulsen strained a muscle in his right thigh
and he is almost certain to miss arguably the biggest game of the season
so far.

The news means that Portuguese midfielder Tiago Mendes is more likely
to start on Saturday just hours after he returns from playing for
his nation against Brazil.
