Giovinco: I'm no Nedved

Sebastian Giovinco points out he has different characteristics
to Pavel Nedved and would prefer to play in another position.

The 20-year-old support striker has been repeatedly used
on the left side of midfield when Nedved is out injured
and proved inspirational in last night's 4-1 win over Bologna.

“I try to do my best on the field. I cannot say any more than that,
as the only thing I can do is play well and help the team,”
said the ‘Atomic Ant.’
原子螞蟻說：「我試著在場上拿出最佳表現，再多也沒有了，
因為我惟一能做的就是踢好球然後幫助球隊取勝。」

“The Coach knows the position where I give my best.
I am happy to play, don't get me wrong.
「教練知道哪個位置我最好發揮，但是別搞錯了，我還是很高興能上場的。」

“It's just that there are some situations where I have to keep coming
back to help out the defence and I find I'm not as sharp when attacking.
I don't have Nedved's stamina, so that is a bit of a problem for me.”
「只是有些狀況我必須持續參與回防，我發現這讓我在進攻變得不夠銳利，
我沒有內德維德的精力，所以這讓我有點困擾。」

Giovinco set up Hasan Salihamidzic's goal, scored the second and
hit the woodwork against Bologna, but admits he scuffed the strike.
他助攻莎莉破門，自己撞柱進了第二個，不過他說他塞到的。

“I was lucky! I tried to hit it with the outside of my foot –
not quite that much on the outside, but near enough…”
「我福氣啦！我試著要用外腳背射門，結果吃太多，不過夠接近了…」

The youngster is not upset by newspaper talk of Diego or Antonio Cassano c
oming in to the Juventus side during the summer.
他也不為了報紙談論今夏轉會而心煩。

“I welcome any great talents to Juventus, as the more we play
with the ball to feet then the better it is for players like me.
I am much happier if we pass the ball around that way.”
