Juventus director general Beppe Marotta is said to be very close to doing a
deal with Udinese for Marco Motta.
The Bianconeri are keen to strengthen at the full-back position and have been
scouting Motta for some time.
Juventus tried to sign him in January only for Roma boss Claudio Ranieri to
veto a deal despite using him sparingly in the capital.
Motta was co-owned by Roma and Udinese until last week when the latter bought
him outright.
Juventus would now like to do a similar deal to the one they did for Simone
Pepe.
La Gazzetta understands Marotta will ask to loan Motta until the end of next
season when Juventus will have an option to buy him.
That pre-arranged fee will also be payable in installments.
