Italy Under-21 coach Ciro Ferrara is poised to take charge of Sampdoria,
Italian Football Federation (FIGC) president Giancarlo Abete has revealed.
義大利足協(FIGC)主席Giancarlo Abete透漏，義大利U21教練Ciro Ferrara準備要
接掌Sampdoria囉。
The newly-promoted Serie A side have been looking at alternatives to Rafa
Benitez, after the former Liverpool boss rejected the club's offer last
week.
剛升級到義甲的Sampdoria曾尋求其他人選，但上週前Liverpool總仔Rafa Benitez
拒絕了。
"Sampdoria president Riccardo Garrone contacted me to make an offer to
Ciro Ferrara, unlike other club officials who have done the same thing
behind our back," Abete told reporters.
Abete告訴記者：「Sampdoria主席Riccardo Garrone聯繫我，提議Ciro Ferrara
(執教Sampdoria)，不像其他球隊官員暗著來。」
"I spoke with Garrone and Ferrara, who expressed an interest in coaching
Sampdoria in the next years.
「我與Garrone以及對接下來幾年執教Sampdoria表達興趣的Ferrara對談。」
"We gave the green light and now we must find a new coach for the Under-21
team."
「我給了綠燈放行，而現在我們得為U21找個新教練了。」
Ferrara, who took charge of Italy's Under-21 team, will now return to
Serie A coaching after previously guiding Juventus in the first few months
of 2009-10, before receiving his marching orders.
現掌管義大利U21的Ferrara，將繼2009-10賽季執教Juventus頭幾個月之後，再一次
回到義甲聯賽。
The ex-Azzurri defender will take over from Giuseppe Iachini, who will be
fired, despite guiding Sampdoria to back to the Italian top tier, as the
club look for a more high-profile name at the helm.
由於尋求更高規格的教練，這位前國家隊後衛將接下帶領Sampdoria升回義甲的教練
Giuseppe Iachini被辭退留下的空缺。
