Hello,
I have been here for 11 days and everything is fine, don't worry.
The only one disadvantage is that I don't have the broad band to use in
both my host company and family. And unfortunately, my host company's
network is limited because of security. But it doesn't matter, I think,
because I got the best colleagues. My supervisor is David Spear, and when
my classmates saw him at the official welcoming last Tuesday, they all
said " he is really a handsome guy". Actually, he is only 29 years old and
he got his MBA degree last year.
My host family is also good and all my classmates are envious. Because
Joyce, my home mother, is really a good cook. I enjoy the bit meal
everyday. Yesterday Janet went to my house to be our guest and we had
roast lamb last night.
This morning when I arrived the office ( because I am the first one to
arrive and I don't have the key to enter it), I just put my bag in front of
our office and walk around on the street. And do you know what I saw? A
kangaroo jumped on the road and two cars just followed it. Really
amazing, wasn't it?
This saturday we will go to see the football game and in the evening
we are all invited to go to Linda's house to cook chinese food for all our
host families ( our host families are also invited if they have time ).
In Australia, I keep the diary everyday and, if possible, I will ask Joyce to
teach me how to cook all the lovely meals. And to tell the truth, some of
them I have already got the recipes.
Please give my greeting to all my friends, including "New Zealand & Australia
Players" and Ruby, Dunkun, AJET...
Right now I am in the Executive Officer's office and I will have it for two
weeks because he is on the vacation. Before he left the office last Friday,
he treated me the lunch as a welcome with my colleagues and after the
lunch, I got a half day off. And he also said, "Simone, my assistant, will
have your order while I am not in the office!"
Simone just ask me which coffee I want while I write this letter to you.
Because she will go out to buy some coffees. Hahaha.....
