這句文意應是翻成
「國王在正規賽末段追回五分落後，迫使（比賽）進入延長賽。」
"deficit"有「落後」的意思
"come back" 有「回神、追回」甚至「逆轉」的意思
（轉播中聽過外國主播說 "XXX(team) has made a tremendous come-back game!"）
例句:"The team has to come back from a 3-2 deficit to win game 7 of
this series."
