KINGS SIGN ROOKIE FREE AGENT LOUIS AMUNDSON TO CONTRACT
July 8, 2006

SACRAMENTO, CALIF. – The Sacramento Kings today signed forward Louis
Amundson to a contract, it was announced by Kings’ President of Basketball
Operations Geoff Petrie. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not
disclosed.

Amundson, a 6-9, 225-pound forward from Nevada-Las Vegas, averaged a
career-best 14.3 points and 8.6 rebounds a game in his senior season
(2005-06) with the Rebels. He earned Second Team All-Mountain West Conference
honors, All-District accolades from the NABC and USBWA. He finished his
four-year career as Nevada-Las Vegas’ seventh all-time shot blocker (120)
and 11th all-time rebounder (668). Amundson is the only player in Mountain
West Conference history to have two career games of at least 20 points and 20
rebounds.

簡單的來說  他是個聰明的苦力

在學期間  他每一年都持續在進步

他最大的優點是籃板  他去年面對 Hawaii 的比賽中拉下 21 個籃板

其中 10 個是進攻籃板  整體來說兩位數的籃板  不是難事

可是他的進攻手段不多  超過12呎就沒有投射能力  持球技巧貧乏

罰球更是歐胖胖等級的！！！

最令人擔心的  也可能是導致他 underdraft 的主因  還是在身高

他真正穿鞋的身高也才 6-8  大概就跟前國王球員 Songaila 相當接近

不過  他的腳步移位似乎比較快  並且態度積極

雖然可能無法避免 tweener的事實  但也許能提供國王一些活力....
