Q: Everyone always hears about rookie players hitting the wall. Is there such
a thing as rookie coaches hitting the wall?
問：大家都聽過新秀撞牆期，那有新教頭撞牆期嗎？
A: I'm sure there is. I don't anticipate that. I've had a couple of days
where I was thinking about how I've still got a whole college season left.
But I love the game so much. This is such a great challenge for me that it
just seems like I've always been here.
答：我很確定有那個東東，不過我可沒期待它的發生。有時候我會想著，天啊！怎麼還這

Q: You obviously have the advantage of having played 82 games. Does that make
a difference?

A: I understand it. I've been through it. And I've been through an NBA
season as an announcer too, covering the games. So I'm very well prepared for
the duration.

Q: Is that something you're still sort of feeling out, the getting through
the 82 games when you're living it 24/7? There's a different pacing than as a
player or announcer.
問：會不會覺得自已每天二十四小時都活在比賽中？這可跟當球員或播報員不同吧。
A: As a player, the games keep coming also. They don't live it after the
game. But what happens is, you get in an automatic pilot. This becomes your
life. You wake, you live, breathe and sleep basketball. Fortunately for me, I
have other outlets. Being an archer, I still shoot my bow in my garage. I
take my moments for myself periodically to do some things.
答：球員時期，比賽也是這樣子啊。不只是在比賽中打球而已。事實是你每天起床、生活
、呼吸、睡覺，籃球都在。幸運的是我有些發洩的方法。我會跑去射箭，我都在我家
車庫練箭法，保留一些私人的時間給自已，做自已想做的事。
Q: After a really bad loss, whose picture do you put up on the target?
問：當有難堪的輸球時，你會找個傢伙的相片放到箭靶上嗎？
A: No, no. Still an elk and a deer.
答：不會，射他兩百遍，他還是活著，完全沒有效啊。
Q: C'mon. Name a player.
問：講個人名看看？
A: Still an elk and a deer.
答：沒有啦。我不會這樣做。
Q: A referee?
問：比方說...裁判？
A: One of the pluses with me is, it's not personal. Even when I'm upset with
one of my guys, when we talk about or we deal with it, it's over. I'm never
mad at my guys. I'm mad at the way they play or the effort we put in
sometimes. But never mad at the guys.
答：我有一個優點，即使我對某人很不爽，我跟他講話時可以把情緒分離。我從不對著我
的手下們發飆。我會對他們打球的方式或著態度不開心，但我從不對人。
