最近比較有空 來翻一下之前有關選秀的外電XD

compared to the rest of the league. The orderly Warriors, subtle Kings,
understated Suns, modest Clippers and dormant Lakers stayed out of the
madness of draft-day trades.
相較於聯盟中其它的分區而言，太平洋組的禮拜四是個沉寂的夜晚。井然有序的勇士、難
以捉摸的國王、低調的太陽、穩重的快艇和潛伏湖人，仍然對選秀的交易沒有太大的興
趣。
Instead, the national news was the Grizzlies-Timberwolves deal with lottery
picks O.J. Mayo and Kevin Love, the Nets-Bucks deal with Yi Jianlian and
Richard Jefferson and the hyperactive Trail Blazers as part of five swaps.
Darrell Arthur was drafted by New Orleans but immediately went to Portland
(of course) in a predraft deal. From Portland, Arthur was dealt to Houston
and then to Memphis.

anyway, based on value of the pick and addressing needs.

球隊的需要來進行補強。
Clippers Selections: Eric Gordon (No. 7 pick), DeAndre Jordan (35), Mike
Taylor (55, trade with Trail Blazers).
快艇分別在第7順位挑選了Erci Gordon、第35順位選走DeAndre Jordan，和第55順位的
Mike Taylor。

Kings Selections: Jason Thompson (12), Sean Singletary (42), Patrick Ewing
Jr. (43).
國王則分別在第12、42和43順位，選了Jason Thompson、Sean Singletary和Patrick
Ewing。
The disappointment was having two point guards, Bayless and Augustin, within
reach only to have both come off the board within three picks before
Sacramento. But they have great optimism for Thompson as the solution at
power forward, though, and more than a consolation prize.
國王對於沒能夠選到兩名控衛(Batless和Augustin)，感到非常失望。但是他們在選了
Thompson後，在大前鋒的位置上有了最佳的解答。這算是一個值得安慰的獎賞...
Singletary, a pass-first point guard who defends and has the experience of
four seasons in the Atlantic Coast Conference, will have a good chance to
stick because of the position need. Ewing, a perimeter defender with
tremendous leaping ability, will have a much tougher time because of a glut
at small forward.
