Kings waive Solomon
Will Solomon was shown the door early as the Kings requested waivers on the
guard today.
Solomon played in 14 games for the Kings after joining the team in February.
In his second season, Solomon averaged five points (.406 FGs, .448 3FGs, .500
FTs) and 1.5 rebounds for the Kings.
Solomon has played once in the last seven games after twice earning 20-plus
minutes in mid-March.
Lately, Solomon has had a right shoulder injury and lower back stiffness.
Solomon was acquired from the Toronto Raptors and previously spent six
seasons in leagues in Greece, Israel and Turkey. His contract was set to
expire this summer.
