1 PETRIE在歐洲的最新考察
Petrie Reports From Spain
Geoff Petrie is in Spain scouting and provided twitter updates throughout
this morning’s DKV Joventut at Real Madrid opening round game of the ACB
Spanish League Playoffs. He was there to take another look at Joventut point
guard Ricky Rubio. Unfortunately, Rubio only played 10 minutes before leaving
the game for good early in the second quarter due to injury. He finished with
two points (0-1 FG, 2-2 FT), one rebound, and two assists. Real Madrid won
the game, 79-62, to take a 1-0 series lead. The series will resume back in
Barcelona on Monday. It is unknown at this time as to whether Rubio will play
in Monday’s contest.

The Sacramento Kings are sending former star Chris Weber to represent them at
the festivities to see which NBA lottery team gets the No.1 pick. According
to the Boston Globe, the Kings think the No.1 pick could be the first step in
regaining some past glory.

Accoding to the Globe, the draft class is led by the Karl Malone-like
Griffin, and everyone else is a distant second. But even if the Kings acquire
the top pick, expect them to still work out several other propsects like
Spain guard Ricky Rubio, Connecticut center Hasheem Thabeet, Arizona State
swingman James Harden, and Arizona forward Jordan Hill.

The Globe reported, the worst the Kings can finish in the draft lottery is
fourth. While this year's draft isn't considered a stellar one, Cooper is
confident the Kings will add a solid player, whether they pick first or
fourth. Whether a player outside of Griffin can make an immediate impact,
however, is very questionable.

以下是DRAFTEXPRESS給的評價
-Jerel McNeal used a lot of possessions, but didn't really stand out apart
from his 1.46 PPP in unguarded catch and shoot situations, his experience on
the pick and roll (83 FGA, 1st), and his 1.39 PPP shooting off of screens. He
was not terribly efficient as an all-around scorer, struggling in particular
to convert opportunities around the basket. He took a lot of pull-up jumpers
and was only moderately effective at doing so, but did show a raw ability to
create his own shot that can certainly develop more polish in the future.

還不是個很全面的得分手 在籃下有時會選擇性的投籃
投籃還沒有很穩定 但是已有一些能自我創造投籃機會的能力
