Rejuvenated Rockets impress Westphal

這對手可不弱啊...

In the relatively short time period known as the Kings' Paul Westphal era,
the first-year coach has ended most practices with a satisfied feeling.

    教頭的執教時間並不長，但他覺得大多的練習都有收到了成效。

The effort has been there among his players, as has the willingness to listen
and learn and improve. But on the eve of a home game against Houston that
offers his team an unexpected chance at a winning record, Westphal found
himself in a rare state of mind: he wasn't happy after practice.

"We've had better practices," Wespthal said. "I didn't think we were very
focused today. I hope we're more focused tomorrow."

latest one, Westphal said, "Wake up. Houston's coming to town."

The coach isn't the only who has taken notice of the Rockets. Despite losing
Ron Artest to free agency, Yao Ming to a broken foot and Tracy McGrady to a
knee injury and subsequent microfracture surgery, they enter Arco Arena 5-3
under former Kings coach Rick Adelman.

Growing Greene – King small forward Donté Greene will face the team that
got him in the draft for the fourth time in his two seasons, but something is

After a rookie season in which he was mostly insignificant, Greene has hit 12
of 19 shots in the last three games while averaging 15 minutes.

what's given to me and not forcing anything. Just playing smart … My
basketball IQ is definitely going up and I'm feeling more comfortable out
here."

Asked if he still resented the Rockets' decision to trade him, Greene waffled
in his answer.

A foreboding future? – A recent ESPN.com feature was far from flattering for
the Kings, who were ranked 28th among the leagues' 30 teams in "Future Power
Rating." The formula attempted to forecast each organization's future based
on five projected outlooks and evaluations – players, management, money
(salary cap situation), market and draft. While the report initially
incorrectly reported that the Kings were over the salary cap and would be
until 2011, the online story fixed the figures.

前途正慘？

The Kings had nearly $6 million in salary cap room last summer that went
mostly unused, and are on track to have approximately $12 million this coming
summer depending on the where the league's salary cap is eventually set. That
figure does not factor in the newest round of draft picks, meaning they're
more likely to have approximately $10 million in cap room.

The Kings fared far better in a subsequent ESPN ranking story, as Tyreke

    韋斯特法回過神來，問道：「伊文斯，你這次歷練回來，功夫可有長進了？」霍斯道
：「師父，您剛剛沒見到五師弟和火箭門護法的切磋，真可說是士別三日，要刮目相看了
。」韋斯特法道：「好吧，那這次火箭門的挑戰，就由你們師兄弟們接下來了。」湯普森
道：「師父，單靠我們只怕是不足以戰勝火箭門吧！」韋斯特法道：「我會要四大記名弟
子與你們一同出戰火箭門。」

    伊文斯道：「可是師父，對上師伯....」韋斯特法道：「放心，我不出手之前，他是
不會出手的。」話畢，眼中精光暴出：「若他非要出手，我會讓他知道華山論劍的西佛也
非浪得虛名。」戰意一現則隱，韋斯特法道：「你們先去休息吧，順便把話告訴其他人。
」四人一起躬身答道：「是！師父。」

    贏球很好，三連勝很好，什麼都好，可是我們勝場面對的對手是？

    並沒有貶低這四隻隊伍的意思，勇士瘋起來還是讓人害怕，爵士只要有史龍就值得尊
敬，雷霆、灰熊也都有不俗的先發戰力，可是這四隻球隊上季只有一隻進季後賽，只有一
隻目前勝率過五成。說句實話，這隻國王還沒有拿到好球隊證明吧！對火箭之戰，我想是
很重要的一戰，不僅是四連勝的希望所寄，也是一次很好的測試。

    交易誰？我覺得找個可以讓JT、Hawes 一起下場休息的肉柱才是當務之急，後場就要
麻煩SROD儘速成為可戰之兵，才能讓Evans、Udrih不用一個留在場上。
