Hello Ailene! Has there been any new rumors on various trade possibilities
with the kings?

Q:請問有任何乳摸嗎？

Ailene Voisin, Sac Bee: Hello Minhvincible. Teams are always talking, and I
believe there was some conversation about Samuel Dalembert. But he really
isn't Geoff Petrie's type of player. I know Paul Westphal wants some help on
the frontline, but the Kings are going to be very hesitant about spending
money and wasting cap space until they think they can hit a home run -- or at
least a triple!

    我有聽到部份有關大懶伯的傳言，但他不是Petrie愛的那一款。我知道Westphal希望
能加強前場戰力，但國王將會非常謹慎來利用他們的薪資，除非是全壘打，不然決不揮擊
（三壘安也能接受啦）！

What about the rumor of Okafor for Thomas? Young talent, but concern would be
the injury history.

Q:Okafor和KT乳摸呢？年輕又有才，只可惜有傷病史。

    The Kings won't touch Okafor because his contract is outrageous -- four
more years for megabucks - and he is a very average player. He does not excel
in any area. He's an undersized center, who, in my opinion, lost some
flexibility and mobility by adding upper body bulk. I think he was more
effective when he was leaner and quick. Plus, he has a history of injuries,
though he played 82 games in each of the last two seasons, I believe.

    國王覺得他的合約太大了，而且他只是個平均的球員。他不是某一方面頂尖的球員。
身高不符的中鋒。而且在我看來他的速度和敏捷性都不大夠。如果苗條點會很棒。此外他
的傷痛也讓人置疑。

Hi Ailene, do you see Spencer Hawes as a starter or backup on a playoff
caliber team?

Q:某人可能是季後賽球隊裡面的先發還是只能當個替補？

Hello JJA - That's a very good question. Spencer is an enigma. I expected him
to have a great year, but apart from blocking shots, and a great game here or
there, he has been disappointing. He is not rebounding - he should be
averaging nine or 10 boards, not seven - and offensively he is struggling. I
attribute the offensive woes to the new offensive scheme. In the past, the
offense was initiated at the high post by Hawes, and before him, Brad Miller
and Vlade Divac. Now, with the ball in Tyreke Evans' hands so often - and
often for much too long - it negates some of Spencer's strengths. Also, they
want him down low, but sometimes it crowds the paint, and Paul Westphal wants
space down there so Tyreke can drive or post up. Personally, I think Westphal
is going to have to tinker with his offense. We saw the other night, when
Sergio Rodriguez entered, that the ball moved better, he executed plays for
Jason Thompson and Donte Greene, and there was more energy. Gotta find a way
to use Spencer's passing skills and involve more players offensively.

I think Hawes is going to struggle, much like Brad Miller did, to keep his RB
rate at 1 per 4 minutes.

Q:我想Hawes 將會很失落，他的籃板效率就像之前某季的Miller一樣，四分鐘來一次。

      That's up to Spencer. He has to stick his nose in there, and be willing
to take some bumping. No one expects him to become a bruiser, but at 7-feet
tall, there is no excuse for not pursuing rebounds.

    這都要看Hawes 他自已。沒有人期待他成為猛男，但有那個身高就不能不捉板。

Ailene, Will Petrie try to trade Martin and Cisco since the KINGS seem to be
winning without them?

Q:請問國王會試著交易KM或Garcia嗎？因為國王看來不用他們也能贏球。

Hello Ruby. I think Geoff is open to anything. When you win only 17 games,
there are no sacred cows. But I am sure he wants to see how Kevin meshes with
Tyreke and Beno in the lineup, and I think Paul anticipates playing Beno,
Tyreke and Kevin together. I am still not convinced that Tyreke isn't better
suited to play the three spot, where he wouldn't have the ball as often, and
wouldn't have to create for others. Intiating the offense is not his thing.
He's a scorer, and will be a bigtime defender and rebounder for his size. I'm
a big believer in going to players' strengths. So, check back next summer. I
think the core stays this season unless Kevin returns and the mix is
completely wrong. Then maybe something happens by the trade deadline. As for
Cisco ... let's see how he returns from injury. A broken right wrist ... for
a shooter ... not an easy injury to recover from.

    我想Petrie對合理的交易都會歡迎。當你只贏十七場球時，沒什麼不能談的。但我確
定他想看KM和Beno、Tyreke的組合，而我也覺得有可能三人齊上陣。我不知道Tyreke在不

碼本季我們的核心都不會變動，除非KM回來之後證明這組合完全不搭，那麼就有可能發生
事情了。

    至於Garcia，我們得看他由傷勢中復原的情形，他的傷對射手來說沒那麼容易搞定。

Spence is going to be ok if he keeps working on his shot in practice. This
offense depends on the center being able to knock down 18-20 footers
consistently to open up the paint. Right now, he doesn't strike fear in
anyone when he takes an outside shot. He needs to keep hustling too, and
boxing out on the D end.

Q:Hawes 將會回來，只要他繼續練習投籃。我們的攻勢亟需中鋒投進18-20 呎跳投，以清

    I keep thinking Spencer is going to develop, much like Joakim Noah has.
This is the critical year. But he just seems uncomfortable in the offense.
Maybe if he becomes more of a defensive factor ... ? I know Westphal does not
want him standing out there shooting threes all night ..

THINK THAT HE SHOULD JUST BE A NOTHER RAY ALLEN TYPE OF PLAYER OR RIP
HAMILTON, CATCH AND SHOOT PLAYER....THIS YEAR AND MUCH OF LAST YEAR HE WANTED
TO DRIBBLE THE BALL AND USUALLY WHEN HE DOES THIS IT KILLS THE
MOMENTUM....THE REASON WHY THE TEAM IS SO FUN TO WATCH NOW AND BACK IN THE
HEY-DAYS IS BECAUSE THERE IS BALL MOVEMENT.......THATS WHAT WE NEED.....

Q:KM不是個場上的領導者，他沒有持球技巧，他運球時代表他想要去罰球。我想他是個接
了就投型的球員。今年及去年的大多時刻，他運球時謀殺了球的流動。球隊現在的風光，
就是因為球又再度流動了。這才是我們需要的。

    I completely agree on the ball movement, which is why it is incumbent
upon Beno Udrih to play better than he did the other night. He is the best
guard the Kings have at initiating offense and involving all five players. As
for Kevin ...  he was playing terrific basketball  when he got hurt. Think
back to the opener. He scored a ton of points but the ball moved, the pace
was fast (because Beno pushed the pace), and  the game was more entertaining
than anything we've seen at Arco in a long, long, time. So, I would say,
gotta see how  the combination works when Kevin returns. He is  a prolific
scorer, and again, he was defending and rebounding  ...

    我完全同意球的流動這點，這也是為何Beno如此重要，他是國王現階段最好的攻勢發
動機，他可以讓五人都動起來。至於KM，每當要展現球技時，他總是受傷。主場開幕戰時
，他在球的流動順暢時，也攻下了大量的分數。當然Beno的功勞很大。但我們還是要等KM
回來之後才能知道，到底組合起會是丸子三兄弟還是亂七八糟不是東西。

what do u think brockman? I think he deserves more pt especially since spence
is in a slump and i think not starting spence was better for him and the team
because he got to get a feel for the game before coming in. Brockman is a
beast on the boards and someone needs to help out JT. Brocks scoring is an
added bonus but his hustle and knack for rebounding is what we need.

Q:你覺得Brockman如何？我想他可以打更多時間，所以我覺得讓他先發比起某個總在等感
覺回來的傢伙好多了。Brockman是個籃板狂人，而且要有人能幫忙JT。他如果得分是額外

  Hello again TJ. I was surprised Brockman got pulled so fast the other
night. He had muscled in side for a rebound .... was providing the energy the
Kings lacked.   I wouldn't be surprised to see more of him these next few
days, unless Donte Greene, Casspi, and Spencer start rebounding.

    我也對Brockman又很快被拉下來而感到驚訝。他才剛在對面衝搶到一個籃板，這可是

Hello Linda. I think the Kings absolutely would trade Nocioni for the right
deal, and the offerings will improve around the trade deadline. His contract
is too weighty for what he does, and he would like to be with a contender.
Some of this might depend on how quickly Omri Casspi develops, and whether
Donte Greene has improved enough to earn major minutes. Nocioni provides deep
shooting - which the Kings definitely need to open the inside for Evans, Beno
and Jason Thompson.

    只要有恰當、夠好的交易，Noci就會跟我們說掰掰。他的合約對我們來說太重了些，
而他也適合當個頭銜競爭者。但Casspi、Greene的發展是一個重點，畢竟目前而言，Noci
的長射對Evans 、Beno、JT而言很重要，他能替他們打開空間。

Hi - How much is Shareef involved with the development of Spencer? I hear
that Hawes is a very hard worker but have yet to see it pay off during games.
Do you see the assistant coaches tutoring him during practices?

Q:Rahim 是否對Hawes 的進步有所幫助？我聽說Hawes 訓練超認真又拼命，但他打得真的
是＠＃％＆。你覺得助教的指導到底有沒有幫助？
（原來阿霍很拼啊！好，那下段就不鞭了！）

Hello Kings fan. Spencer works really hard. He invariably stays after practice
to work with Shareef or one of the other coaches, to play one on one, or shoot
free throws. He arrives well before tipoff, too, and works on his shooting.
None of that, of course, has anything to do with the fact that he just needs
to play with more physicality.

    他真的超努力的，他總是在練習後留下來和Rahim 或者其他助教練習。他在開戰前也
都會早早到達。但除此之外，他還是得更戶愚呂化些。
