Kings commit another 21 turnovers in loss to Mavericks
只輸兩分？！嚇得我全身P幣都掉了出來
The Kings committed 21 turnovers for the second game in a row, and as a
result lost their second consecutive game.
又二一！這是我們本季第四次二一，也是首次連二一，結果就是□□！
（還好畢業了，不然我還不敢翻這篇外電勒！）
This time, the Kings fell to the Dallas Mavericks 104-102 on Friday at
American Airlines Center.
今晚我們輸給了小牛隊。
The Kings have lost 12 in a row in Dallas. Their 21 turnovers led to 24
points for the Mavs.
在這個地方已經連敗十二場了。今天光失誤就送了二十四分。
"We're trying not to throw it to the other team," coach Paul Westphal said.
"We'll see some results. We're working at it. It's a combination of things."
「我們試著不要傳球給對方，有點成果但還要再加油。」教頭說。
The Kings are just 11 games into Westphal's regime, so there is still a
feeling-out process going on with the system and players who aren't used to
each other.

And the Kings are still having trouble adjusting to what the defense gives
them and trying to force a play, which leads to turnovers.

"One time, we called a play in a timeout and came out and didn't run it,"
Westphal said. "That's concentration, so there's that, too. All those little
things, they add up."

Rookie guard Tyreke Evans continued his run of solid play and notched his
sixth consecutive 20-point game. It's the longest streak for a Kings rookie
since Lionel Simmons scored 20 or more in seven in a row during the 1990-91
season.

Evans scored a game-high 29 points and had 10 assists and seven rebounds. He
made 13 of 21 shots, including both three-point attempts. Evans also had a
game-high five turnovers.

Evans believes efforts like Friday's show the Kings can play with any team in
the NBA, if they would take care of the ball.

"We've got a lot of talent on this team," Evans said. "We play hard. But like
coach said, the one thing that killed us today was the turnovers. We had some
careless turnovers."

Evans had an X-ray on his right hand after hitting it on the floor trying to
save a loose ball. He said the X-ray was negative and his hand was just sore.

"He competes," Westphal said of Evans. "He goes out there to do everything he
can to win the game. And there are a few things he can work on and improve,
but find me a 20-year-old who doesn't have a few things he can work on and
improve."

In spite of 17 turnovers through three quarters, the Kings trailed just 68-65
to start the fourth quarter.

The Kings fell behind 83-73 with 6:34 left in the game, then scored seven in
a row, capped by a jumper from Evans.

The Mavs countered with an 8-2 run to build enough room to fight off the
Kings' late rally.

"We have to protect the ball a little bit," Kings forward Jason Thompson

figures, led by Jason Terry's 20. Then there were the usual stars such as
Dirk Nowitzki (20 points, seven assists) and Jason Kidd (15 points, 11
assists).

The Kings decided to dare Kidd to beat them with perimeter shooting, and he
made 5 of 9 three-point attempts.
今天的策略是放給Kidd投，而我們還是損失慘重，他砍九中五。
Beno Udrih had 20 points and five assists for the Kings, and Thompson had 18
points and eight rebounds.
Beno有20分五助攻，JT有18分八籃板。
"When we learn to take care of the ball a little better, I think we'll come
out with our share of wins in these kinds of games," Westphal said.
「當我們學到如何小心翼翼愛護球時。我想我們有可能在這樣的比賽中拿到一些勝利
