Nocioni draws tough assignment upon return

This easily could be seen as a rude welcome back. Miss a game because of an
injury, and the first night back on the job, you're asked to defend Dirk
Nowitzki.

    你有沒有搞錯，剛剛傷癒，就叫我去守Nowitzki。

That was the task of Kings forward Andres Nocioni on Friday night. After
missing Tuesday's loss to Chicago because of a right hip pointer, Nocioni
returned to the lineup and spent most of his defensive attention trying to
slow one of the NBA's best players in the Kings' 104-102 loss to the Dallas
Mavericks at American Airlines Center.

    可憐的Noci就是勞碌命，剛重回崗位就要去守NBA 的最佳球員之一。

"I did a pretty good job," Nocioni said. "The problem is Dirk is a great
player. He can do a lot of things. You can play the best defense of your
life, and he's still going to make shots."

    「我做得不錯。Dirk是個偉大的球員，他可以做到很多事情。即使你用生命去防守（
演出你人生中最好的防守表現），他還是會把球放進去。」Noci說。

Nowitzki scored 20 points on 6-of-15 shooting.

Kings coach Paul Westphal was asked if Nocioni did a good job of frustrating
Nowitzki. Westphal wouldn't go that far.

"I don't know if Dirk was frustrated," Westphal said. "I would never say
that. But Noc works. It's a thankless job to go battle Dirk. Pretty much
every minute Noc was on the floor, he was guarding Dirk and trying to make
his life as tough as he could make it."

    「我不知道Dirk有沒有感到困擾。但Noci應該有點效吧，守Dirk可是沒人喜歡的工作
。每分鐘Noci在場上時，他總是燃燒生命去防守Dirk。」教頭說。

Nowitzki entered the game averaging 27.5 points. Westphal acknowledged that
coming up short on a night when Nowitzki wasn't at his best was tough.

    德佬在這場比賽以前可是27.5分的得分機器，不趁他表現不好要他命是不對的。

"Yeah, that doesn't happen very often," Westphal said. "You hate to waste
those nights when he's not torching you."

    「他可不會常常打不好，你怎麼能浪費他失手的夜晚呢。」教頭說。

Nocioni scored 15 points. He said his hip wasn't an issue but that he was
taking a cautious approach to tonight's game in Houston.

    Noci也有十分。他說他的傷勢OK，但還要謹慎觀察對火箭能否上場。

"I need to see how I wake up (this morning) and see if it's fine," he said.

    「我要看我醒來時會不會屁股痛。」Noci說。

Finding time – Guard Sergio Rodríguez had his best game as a King on
Tuesday with nine points, five assists and a steal in 20 minutes.

    Sergio在打公牛時超猛的。

Westphal wasn't surprised.

    教頭並不驚訝。

But Friday night, Rodríguez played just three minutes and was scoreless.
It's hard to find time for the fourth-year veteran as long as Tyreke Evans
and Beno Udrih continue to play well.

    但今天他又只上了三分鐘，且沒做出什麼貢獻。當Evans、Udrih兩人都打得好時，四
年老將只能被冰。

"(Rodríguez) has been playing really well in practice," Westphal said. "It's
nice when you can find minutes for him, because he can make a lot happen."

    「他在練習中打得不錯，如果他能上場，他將為球隊帶來不少變化。」誇了照冰的教
頭說。

Westphal figures to call on Rodríguez at some point again.

    教頭正在想找些時間點動用這隻秘密武器。

"I have confidence in Sergio," Westphal said. "And particularly when we
appear to be flat, he can come in and change the game with the way that he
plays."

    「我對他有信心，當我們走調時，他會進場並帶來一些溫暖。」教頭說。
