Kings turn one over to Memphis

The first two minutes of Monday night's Kings-Memphis Grizzlies game were the
kind that leave a coach flustered.

    開場兩分鐘就可以讓任何一個教頭氣炸。

The Kings had three possessions, and each ended with a turnover.

    連三波，連三失誤。

So Kings coach Paul Westphal yelled a message to his team from the sideline.

    這讓教頭火到在場邊暴走。

"I don't care if you shoot when you cross halfcourt," Westphal said. "Just
get a shot up."

The Kings finally started getting shots up, but they also kept committing
turnovers and lost to the Grizzlies 116-105 at FedExForum.

    還好接下來沒有再連續失誤，但是間歇性的失誤還是停止不了，所以結果就是....

The Kings committed 21 turnovers in losing their fourth consecutive game
after winning four in a row. In three of the four losses, the Kings had 21
turnovers.

    又21，結果就是四連敗。四敗中有三場21，已經快沒大學要收人了。

Westphal had used humor to discuss the turnovers and said it was a focus in
practice. But he wasn't smiling about the latest game in which the Kings
contributed to their own demise with careless play.

    教頭仍語帶幽默地討論失誤的問題，但提到這場輸給自已的比賽，他一點笑容也沒有

"If we can't throw the ball to our team, it'll be a long year," Westphal
said. "The turnovers. We started out the game turning the ball over and kept
it up through most of the first three quarters. … We couldn't get anything
going because our ballhandling was so atrocious."

The Kings fell behind by 11 in the first quarter and never led.

The Grizzlies had 62 points in the paint, just two more than the Kings. But
the Grizzlies picked up fouls, too, and shot 42 free throws, making 31.

Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay had 24 points, guard O.J. Mayo added 20, and
center Marc Gasol had 18.

"They hurt us inside at will," Westphal said. "If you can't guard them in the
paint and you can't throw the ball to your own team, it's going to be a long
night, and it was a long night."

The night was a homecoming for Tyreke Evans, who spent one season at the
University of Memphis before declaring for the NBA draft.

Evans missed the Kings' last game in Houston with a sprained right middle
finger and a sore right ankle.

    上一場因為右手中指扭傷和右腳踝酸痛而沒出賽。

Evans was cheered and finished with 28 points, four rebounds and four assists.

It was his seventh consecutive game with at least 20 points. The last Kings
rookie with a streak as long was Lionel Simmons, who scored at least 20 in
seven in a row during the 1990-91 season.

While Evans appreciated that the "crowd showed a lot of love," he didn't
understand why the Kings came out so slowly.

    當Evans 一邊感謝觀眾對他的熱情時，他也表示不能理解為何今晚國王如此失落。

"It's like we weren't playing together," Evans said. "We were kind of just
going through the motions. Then we realized we had a game and decided to play
hard."

After falling behind by 21 in the third quarter, the Kings cut the lead to
nine at 103-94 with 3:13 left in the game, but got no closer.

Westphal said backup guard Sergio Rodríguez had a lot to do with that surge.

"I thought Sergio brought us back within reach where that if something crazy
would have happened, we could have pulled it out," Westphal said.

Rodríguez had 16 points and seven assists off the bench. It was the second
time in a week Rodríguez was a spark off the bench.

In last Tuesday's loss to Chicago, he had nine points, five assists and one
turnover.

But his playing time has been inconsistent.

"For me, my games are in practice," Rodríguez said. "As soon as we get on
the court, I have to bring energy to the team. Unfortunately, the two good

             （這個作者一個星期都為會國王寫一篇，建議大家看全文）

即便回歸首發在進攻端也表現的不尷不尬，球隊不需要他太多的策應，而且还会backdoor
的球員，除了KM和Beno幾乎没有，其中一個還休戰兩月，SH的傳球能力毫無用武之地，一
旦投籃手感全無缺點被無限放大。

進禁區强打，雖然技术不错，會個勾手手段還算可以，但力量上的不足只能面對諸如斯科
拉海耶斯這種身體條件運動能力更不濟的對手才能佔点便宜，况且教练並不太希望SH過多
深入籃下，因为他需要拉出来给JT制造空間，给Beno，KM，TE們制造殺入禁區的空間。拉
出来策應，雖然傳球能力不错，但是TE並不適應這種體系，教練也無意重拾普林斯頓體系
讓TE來適應，會反跑和空切的人幾乎没有，SH提上幾乎不能直接制造威脅，剩下就是投籃
，越投不進别人越不防，越不防越有wide open，越有wide open就越投，然後無限循環，
直到自己信心喪失，然後不知道該怎麼辦。

所以，SH的爛並不是自己不努力，據信他練的很苦很認真，而是體系和球隊造成的，一個
軟軟的本來可以在普林斯頓里high一把的白人中鋒是很難融入球隊中，讓他一夜之間從SH
變成JB是不現實的，如果無法找回手感，SH的掙扎估計還將持續一段時間，畢竟如果所有
人都知道你拉出去還投不進球的話，整個這一環就脱節了。他必須能投進球，讓對方來防
，才有更多種可能性。
