The skinny: San Antonio is in an unfamiliar position. Barring a complete
meltdown, the Spurs will make the playoffs. But they're trying not to finish
as the eighth seed. Injuries have been a problem. The Spurs are still without
point guard Tony Parker. But his replacement, George Hill, gave the Kings
plenty of problems in his last Arco visit.

(a career-high 17 assists). For all their talent, the Clippers have a
tendency to look uninterested amid a midseason coaching change and rumors of
what the team might do in the offseason. Landing a big-name free agent would
be nice for the Clippers, but is anyone willing to sign up for the chaos?

The skinny: The Kings will look to spoil the Mavs' hopes of clinching at
least the second seed in the Western Conference. Dallas has struggled in
recent seasons defending big guards and hopes the addition of Caron Butler
changes that.
