Like many of the Kings, Jason Thompson is still figuring out the NBA.

就像大部分的國王人一樣 JT還在適應NBA


Yes, he spent four years at Rider University, but Thompson is in his second
professional season, so you could chalk up some of his fouls to inexperience.
But there are nights when Thompson shows he is beginning to understand the
NBA game a lot better and how to best utilize his skills.

雖然打了了4年大學 但JT還是個職業聯盟2年級生

Thompson scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to help the Kings end an
eight-game skid with a 116-94 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Thompson was aggressive but had just one foul in 42 minutes.

Early on, I didn't get into foul trouble, so I could help out the team,"
Thompson said. "I know (the Clippers) have talented bigs, but they're not the
quickest, so I knew I could use my quickness."

Thompson began the season as a power forward, but he has started the last
four games at center with Spencer Hawes out for the season.

Thompson has played well lately. He averaged 14.5 points and 8.7 rebounds in
his previous six games.

JT在季初以大前身分出發 但最近因為屁孩它扛下中鋒的位置

最近六場他平均攻下14.5分並抓下8.7個籃板 有點回到季初的水準了

"I think J.T. is feeling pretty comfortable at playing center," Kings coach
Paul Westphal said. "I think J.T.'s doing a better job of driving and using
his quickness rather than try to bull over everybody."

Thompson has worked on his footwork with guidance from assistant coaches Pete
Carril, Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Truck Robinson. The coaching points are
starting to show up on the floor for Thompson.

"They all have three different perspectives on the game of basketball, and I
kind of put it all together," Thompson said. "It's only my second year, so I
am still taking in all the information they are giving me."

While Thompson starred in the frontcourt, Tyreke Evans dominated backcourt
play. He finished with a game-high 28 points and had seven assists and six
rebounds.

"I thought he bullied us," Clippers interim coach Kim Hughes said. "He was
quicker and stronger, more adept to dribbling and got to any spot on the
floor he wanted."

The Clippers proved to be the perfect opponent for the Kings. Sacramento's
losing streak began after a 102-89 victory over the Clippers on March 21 in
Los Angeles. Since that game, the Kings had failed to reach 100 points –
 until Thursday night.
