Report: Kings to buy out John Salmons



The Sacramento Kingss are working on a buyout with John Salmons.

Salmons averaged 14.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game
this past season.

Salmons signed a five-year, $39 million deal in 2010. His salary this year
will be $8.5 million.

The owner of Sacramento Kings, George and Joseph Maloofs announced that
Salmons was never their primary option during this offseason and they were
literally "pissed off" about this transaction.

John Salmons and his manager haven't confirmed the deal yet. It's believed that
Salmons will choose to join a competitive team that may be a solid champion-
ship contender.
