Isiah Thomas isn't finished revamping the Knicks' starting lineup and he is
now focusing his sights on a small forward.

Thomas, the Knicks' president and head coach, already has had discussions
with Seattle free agent Rashard Lewis. Toronto's Morris Peterson is also a
free agent and there is a possibility that Thomas could make a run at
Sacramento's Ron Artest.

Peterson could be the most viable option since the Knicks could simply offer
him their mid-level exception. Lewis is seeking a deal that would pay him
between $10 million and $14 million annually, so the Knicks' only option
would be to work out a sign-and-trade.

"We're assuming that's what they'll be working on," Thomas said of the
Sonics. "(Lewis) is a person of interest."

Any deal for Lewis would have to include David Lee, who has the most trade
