Before the Nets took on the Clippers Saturday night at the Meadowlands,
Randolph threw praise on his new point guard Baron Davis, while throwing
Marbury under the bus in the process. "Playing with a great point guard like
(Davis), it's just going to be great. He's going to be the best point guard I
ever played with."
When reminded that he played with Marbury last season, Randolph said simply,
"Baron's Baron."
交易過後,Randolph談到的新隊友Baron Davis,說:"能與Baron Davis一起打球真是
棒極了,他是我所見過最出色的控球後衛."
有人就提到了Marbury,但是豆腐只說一句:"Baron就是Baron."
"It was kind of surprising," Randolph said. "I know a lot of teams have been
trying to get me and there's been a lot of talk about getting under the
salary cap. They're looking forward to 2010, 2011, trying to get under the
salary cap," he said of the Knicks. "I know that it's a business.
"The Knicks are trying to get some players in the next couple of years," he
added. "I hope they get what they want."
豆腐又說:"這有點讓人驚奇,我知道有不少球隊嘗試著想得到我,他們(尼克)想在
2010,2011年時把薪資降到門檻以下,我知道這就是生意."
"尼克想在兩三年後得到某些球員,我希望他們能得到他們想要的."豆腐又補充說
