: Knicks home opener. His versatility has proven invaluable, as he has been
: both a starter and a reserve while playing both guard positions.

: Every good basketball team has a player who is willing to do the little
: things to win games. The Cavaliers have Anderson Varejao, the Nuggets have
: Chris Andersen and the Rockets have Shane Battier.

每支好隊都有一兩個球員努力當遮羞布，幫忙補上小漏洞，讓球隊贏球。

: The Knicks? Well, they have Jared Jeffries, who never seems to fill up the
: box score but still finds himself in New York’s starting lineup during the
: best run of the season.

嗄？你說Jeffries嗎？

就是那個很難得分，但是還是常常在贏球時先發的Jeffries嗎？

: “I think he adds a lot of intangibles to the team,” Knicks head coach Mike D
: ’Antoni said. “The charges that he took disrupting the other team’s
: offense you don’t see all the time.”

冷笑話他這樣說："我覺得他在看不見的地方幫了很多忙呀～
                 他把對方進攻毀掉的時候，你們電視台才不會拍咧！"

: D’Antoni was talking about the five offensive fouls Jeffries drew and the
: five steals he recorded in the Knicks’ previous two games against the Nets
: and Blazers. Since he returned to the starting lineup last week, New York has
: won a season-high three in a row to get back in the early playoff race.

五次進攻犯規？兩場共五次抄截？至少有他先發上場我們就連勝囉！

: “He was a victim of me jumping around with the lineup and changing up people
: and getting to a slow start,” D’Antoni said. “I put him in the spot where
: his value is seen a lot more if he plays more. He just needs time to be able
: to disrupt.”

冷笑話說："之前因為我喜歡調陣容嘛，所以他沒有常常固定出賽這樣。
           但是如果他上場時間越多、球隊打越好的話，那我就給他這個位置啦！"

: D’Antoni also acknowledges that there are times when Jeffries struggles
: offensively, but what he brings to the Knicks especially on the defensive end
: is too important not to have him on the floor.

雖然Jeffries的進攻真的爛透了，不過防守上不能沒有他。

: “A lot of the times what I do is not going to be recognized,” said
: Jeffries, who is averaging 3.7 points and 3.1 rebounds in 20.8 minutes per
: game. “But I try to do my best to help us win games however I can.”

Jeffries說自己的很多貢獻都不會被紀錄下來，不過他會盡力幫助球隊贏每一場球。

: Jeffries isn’t the only player beginning to really find his niche this
: season. It is often a tricky situation for players to find their role in D’
: Antoni’s unique run-and-gun system, but Jeffries and his teammates seem to
: be on the right path at the right time.

他不是第一個在冷笑話輪換體系中艱苦生存的傢伙，不過看樣子目前還算適應良好。

: “I think that everybody has to find a way to win games,” Jeffries said. “I
: think you can fit into a system, but you have to find that way to win games.
: I think right now we got everybody – myself, Al (Harrington), Larry
: (Hughes), Will (Chandler) and Gallo (Danilo Gallinari), especially, D-Lee
: (David Lee) and (Chris) Duhon – finding their way in this system.”

總而言之，就是要找到贏球的方法（廢話）XD

現在誰都有了，就是要一起融入球隊體系，繼續贏球才是王道。
