Carmelo Anthony has mixed feelings on whether the Nets will make it big in
his hometown borough in 2012. It's probably the major reason why his major
preference was being traded to the Knicks, though The Post reported last
month he would have signed an extension with the Nets if Denver liked their
offer better.

seasons was not D'Antoni's call but stemmed from a study by the club's
medical staff spearheaded by Dr. Lisa Callahan, the director of medical care,
according to a person familiar with the situation.
