: trade of the season as they sent about half of their starting lineup to the
: Denver Nuggets in exchange for Carmelo Anthony and veteran point guard
: Chauncey "Big Shot" Billups.

: On paper, it looked like a great trade for the Knicks.  The team finally
: landed Anthony and was also getting a top leader in Billups.  However, the
: latter's tenure in New York has not gone as planned thus far.
: In 21 games for the Knicks, Billups averaged a very respectable 17.5 points
: per game.  Yet, he only dished out 5.5 assists and shot 32 percent from
: three-point range.  The last two stats can be attributed to his tendency to
: throw up three-pointer after three-pointer instead of looking for the open
: man.

: That being said, it would be best for the team to trade Billups for a point
: guard who can score effectively and also create scoring opportunities for his
: teammates.  Ironically, fellow featured columnist James Bondman discussed
: this possibility in a slideshow he published a few days ago.
: In his piece, Bondman suggested that the Knicks trade future draft picks and
: Billups to the San Antonio Spurs for Tony Parker in a three-team deal also
: involving the Toronto Raptors.  This makes perfect sense as the Spurs have
: been looking for an opportunity to trade Parker since draft night.

把槍西交易出去，換一個得分更有效率並且可以為隊友創造更多得分機會的控球
，對尼克來說是最好的選擇

專欄作家 James Bondman在日前也曾撰筆建議尼克以未來的選秀權及槍西
去跟馬刺及暴龍來個三方交易 換來Tony Parker

因為馬刺在選秀之後也正尋求交易掉Parker的機會，所以這個交易還蠻有搞頭的


: Despite putting up numbers similar to that of Billups, primarily in scoring
: and assists, Parker is the perfect fit for the Knicks.  He has championship
: experience and has proven to have better shot selection than that of the
: veteran Billups.  While he does take his share of three-point shots, Parker
: prefers to drive to the basket and draw fouls.
: On top of that, Parker is only 29 years old and about to enter the second
: year of a four-year $50 million extension given to him at the start of last
: season.  Billups is going to turn 35 in September and his contract is
: expiring.

精於得分跟助攻的法國小跑車超適合尼克的

比起三分出手 Parker更愛往籃下鑽或買犯規

而且Parker是個只有29歲的年輕肉體 而且才正進入四年合約的第二年

而槍西在今年九月即將步入35歲 且合約即將到期了



: Most important, however, is that Knicks power forward Amare Stoudemire said
: that he was "recruiting" both Parker and Carmelo Anthony to join him in New
: York shortly after he signed his contract with the team.  He has already
: brought one of them to New York, so this trade actually happening could be a
: match made in heaven.

最重要的是

當阿罵在與尼克簽約後 他曾經說過他要號召Parker跟Melo一起到尼克

阿罵已經成功找來Melo了 如果這個交易成真的話真的是巧到讓人欲仙欲死了



: Hopefully, the incoming GM will see the potential of this deal and pull the
: trigger, giving Knicks fans reason to cheer once again.


尼克的GM會去探聽這個交易的可能  所以尼克板的板友們又有得嗨了
