Knicks Jared Jeffries prefers to face Bulls in the first-round,
he tells radio station


We've been debating whether or not the Knicks would prefer to face the t
op-seeded Chicago Bulls or the second-seeded Miami Heat in the first round.

大家都在討論尼克在季後賽第一輪比較希望對到的是公牛或者是熱火。


Well, assuming his team makes the playoffs, Knicks forward Jared Jeffries
told ESPN 1050 his preference on Friday afternoon before the home game
against the Washington Wizards.

JJ在對上巫師前對ESPN 1050表達了他的想法。


"I still think the Bulls," Jeffries said, as quoted by ESPNNewYork.com's
Jared Zwerling. "Whenever you can have an MVP candidate or former MVP player
be out on the team, I think that's what you've got to go for. I mean, they're
still playing very well without him, but I'm not sure over a seven-game
series they can keep that high level of playing without Derrick Rose."

JJ：我還是覺得對上公牛比較好。當對方隊上的現任或前任的MVP不在場上時，
    我認為你就必須全力以赴(拿下比賽)。我的意思是說，公年在缺少玫瑰的時候，
    一樣打得非常出色，但是我並不確信在經過七場比賽後，他們還能在缺少玫瑰的時候
    保持這麼高水準的表現。


Rose was inconsistent in his return from a groin injury in the Bulls' Easter
Sunday loss to the Knicks. He sat the following game against New York (a win
for Chicago) with a sore ankle and returned to play 25 minutes in Thursday's
win over the Miami Heat, although he was benched during crunch time after
going 1 for 13 from the field.

玫瑰自該邊受傷後復出的表現一直無法保持一致。他在主場對上尼克時因為腳踝痠痛
並沒有上場(公牛該場拿下勝利)，後來對上熱火時上場了25分鐘，但是在關鍵時刻他
還是坐在板凳上。


But for Jeffries, Rose's ankle won't ultimately determine New York's fate
because he thinks the Knicks can play with anyone.

對JJ來說，玫瑰腳踝的狀況並不是決定尼克命運的最主要原因。
因為他認為尼克現在可以和任何隊伍匹敵。


"I think that we've shown that if we come out with the focus that we've had
over the last two weeks, we can play with anybody," he said. "We've done a
great job defensively of locking in and following a game plan. And then
when it comes down to offense, when you put a guy like Carmelo Anthony and
Amar'e Stoudemire out there, that's the last of your worries of scoring the
ball. If you can get stops, those guys will find a way to score."

JJ：我認為我們己經展現出，如果我們能在場上表現專注，就像我們過去兩個星期
    所展現出來的那樣，我們可以和任何隊伍匹敵。
    在防守上，鎖死對方和執行戰術，我們都做得非常好。
    然後接下來是進攻，當你有甜瓜和丫罵在場上時，得分已經是最不用擔心的部分了。
    如果你能成功阻擋對方防守，甜瓜和丫罵就會有辦法得分。


Jeffries' comments aren't all that shocking. As well as the Bulls have
played without Rose, his presence is vital to their survival in a
best-of-seven series and the Knicks' chances certainly improve if he's
less than 100 percent.
