New York Knicks To Unveil New Uniforms

The New York Knicks have changed much more than their roster this season.

In addition to Jeremy Lin leaving and the likes of Raymond Felton, Jason
Kidd, Marcus Camby and others now in the fold; the Knicks felt they needed to
change their look as well.

The ream will hold an event on Sept. 6 to announce the unveiling of their new 
uniforms.

The Internet was a buzz earlier this month when the video game NBA2K13
released a promotional video featuring a Knicks uniform with several changes.
Buckets Over Broadway writer Sam Taubenfeld took a look at those changes in a
previous post.

Among those changes include the removal of black anywhere on the jersey; the
removal of piping on the side of the jersey and shorts; the circle logo on
the back being replaced by a traditional basketball logo; the addition of
silver/gray piping on top of the jersey.

The Knicks have not yet announced any specific changes to the new uniform,
but a league source told ESPNNewYork.com’s Ian Begley that the changes in
the uniform depicted in the 2K13 leak were accurate.
