the 2005-06 Heat - have mixed opinions about whether the Knicks and coach
Mike Woodson can ever bring a championship back to New York.

“Every now and then you get a team that reigns supreme for a while and
everyone is going to have to go through Miami,” said Shaquille O’Neal, who
won three titles with the Lakers to go along with his ring from Miami. “The
Knicks and probably the Sixers will be (Miami’s) toughest test. But unless
the Knicks’ 1-2 punch (of Amar’e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony) plays at a
super level, they don’t have a shot.”

O’Neal joined former Heat center Alonzo Mourning Monday night at the 27th
annual “Great Sports Legends” dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria in midtown. The
event benefits The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis.

Mourning, whose Heat teams battled the Knicks in the ’90s, countered.
“I think this team is a lot better than the Hawks teams (Woodson) coached,”
 he said. “They’ll be a better defensive team. I think veterans know how to
play the game at the right time of year. You want that experience when it
comes to winning. You only hope leadership and experience can rub off on the
younger guys.”

Knicks hire Hopla as an assistant coach

尼克雇用Dave Hopla當助理教練


The Knicks have hired shooting coach Dave Hopla as an assistant. According to
a league source, Hopla will work specifically in player development and
conduct individual drills for the Knicks, similar to the role that former
assistant Kenny Atkinson served last season. Hopla has worked with the
Wizards and Raptors as a shooting consultant. As a team, the Knick shot 44
percent from the field last season, the 18th highest percentage in the NBA.


根據消息顯示，尼克已經雇用Dave Hopla來當助理教練了，他是接替Kenny Atkinson的


他之前在巫師跟暴龍當投籃教練，尼克上賽季命中率是44%，是NBA中的第18名


還有個資料就是她這個夏天都跟WALL一起練習，而wall上季3分命中率好像是7%...


如果Wall今年命中率提升的話...那我們應該可以感到高興，我想應該不難吧......
