NEW YORK, October 3, 2012 – New York Knickerbockers Executive Vice
President, Basketball Operations and General Manager Glen Grunwald announced
today that the team has signed free agent forward/center Rasheed Wallace to a
contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

He last played for Boston in 2009-10, averaging 9.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and
1.0 assists over 22.5 minutes in 79 regular season games (13 starts) and 6.1
points and 3.0 rebounds over 17.1 minutes in 24 postseason games (one start).

A little more clarity: A non-guaranteed deal is same as a training camp
invite.
jz說是非保證約，也就是訓練營約，記者們說看來應該是武僧要用季前賽跟訓練營
來測試他的狀態，另外就是西蛙說他會簽尼克最大的原因就是武僧。

“The desire to come back was about the game of basketball,” Wallace said
after the Knicks’ practice. “I was getting excited playing in summer league
games and working one-on-one with the guys in Chapel Hill.”
西蛙:"我很渴望可以再次回到籃球比賽，我曾經對於在打夏季聯盟感到很興奮，並且

Woodson said he expected Wallace to practice Thursday after watching the team
go through drills Wednesday. Wallace said Woodson explained to him his role
on the team before he agreed to join the Knicks.
“He’s told me his ideas and his plans and I just wanted to see if I could
fit in somewhere,” Wallace said. “If Coach needs me for two minutes, then I
’m out there for those two minutes going hard. If it’s 10 or 15 minutes,
then I’m going hard for whatever certain amount of minutes he has me there
for.”
武僧說他期望西蛙可以在禮拜四來跟球隊一起練習，而西蛙說他聽到武僧解釋他在尼克
的角色後，他同意加入尼克，"他跟我說他的想法跟他的計畫，而我只是想看看我是否
能融入他的計畫，如果教練需要我上場2分鐘，那麼我就會努力在那兩分鐘貢獻自己，
如果我有10-15分鐘，那麼我將會更努力10-15分鐘，我不在意我能上場多久。"
