NY Knicks fall to Toronto Raptors in third preseason game, 107-88

While Mike Woodson entered the third pre-season game saying he wasn’t very
worried that he hasn’t had his starting five together, he left it expressing
major concern that the team’s injuries have put the Knicks in a scramble
mode.
武僧賽前說他不是很擔心到目前為止的熱身賽，還沒讓先發一起上場過，武僧表示
他更擔心尼克的傷痛問題。
It’s not just that the Knicks again were not able to put their new backcourt
of Raymond Felton and Ronnie Brewer on the floor. In Amar’e Stoudemire’s
first game of the exhibition season, the Knicks showed had numerous failures
at the defensive end, which can be traced to not having their regulars
playing together.
而這場只是再一次的沒辦法擺出尼克新後場--肥頓+小酒，在阿罵的第一場季前賽，
尼克展現出了各種防守上的失策，這都透露出他們並不常一起打球。
“I’ve got to get him and the other four guys working together from a
defensive standpoint,’’ Woodson said, referring to Stoudemire. “We haven’
t had enough time on the floor to do that. That’s something we’ve got to do
in the next two weeks.’’

Not that it's guaranteed to happen. Brewer hasn’t been cleared for contact
after off-season knee surgery and might not play until the final pre-season
game on Oct. 24 against Brooklyn. Until he gets on the court with the other
starters, the Knicks are going to not be able to get the on-court chemistry
that Woodson had previously insisted could come even without his team at full
strength.
In fact, before leaving for the team’s three-game trip, Woodson wasn’t at
all concerned about his manpower problem.
目前不保證武僧可以成功，因為小酒的傷癒復出可能要等到24號對戰籃網，在小酒可

“That’s not a big concern for me,’’ he said. “We’ve got plenty of time.
As we get down to the last two games, guys will be gearing up and getting
ready for the season, especially the last exhibition game. I just want to
make sure everybody is healthy starting out. And when it’s time to play, they
’re ready to play.’’
But once Woodson saw the Raptors hit 12 three’s over the final three
quarters and pound the Knicks for 16 offensive boards, he changed his tune,
even in a game that didn’t count.
武僧說:"這對我而言不是甚麼大問題，我們有足夠的時間，在我們這兩場比賽結束後，
那些傢伙們會成長，並且準備好要面對新賽季，尤其是最後一場季前賽，我想我只要

但在武僧看到暴龍最後那一波瘋狂三分攻勢還有尼克被抓了16個進攻籃板後說，他改變
想法了。
“We kind of lost our direction in the schemes a little bit, when they
started making easy baskets,’’ Carmelo Anthony said after scoring 24
points. “For the most part, it’s learning curve for us. We still got some
work to do to get back in the gym.’’
瓜說:"我們失去了策略的方向，而他們開始越來越輕鬆進攻籃框，這場比賽有很多

The Knicks next play Saturday in Albany against the Celtics. The Albany court
can’t be any worse than the Bell Centre floor, which had numerous gaps and
uneven joints that caused more than a little concern for the players.
“Thank God nobody got hurt,’’ Tyson Chandler said. “It was a terrible
floor to have to play on. I’m just glad that nobody went down.''
尼克下一場將是在Albany對戰普賽，而Albany地場地不會比今天的Bell Centre糟，
這場地好像有很多凹凸不平的地方。

re still taking precautionary measures for the preseason."

Mike Woodson said he doesn't know if Amar'e will play tomorrow against the
Celtics in Albany.
武僧說他也不知道阿罵明天會不會上場
A few Knicks notes: Transition defense was bad, team is shooting too many 3s,
Amar'e looked good.
Rebounding needs to get better.
記者今天的看法:"防守很糟，投太多3分了，阿罵看起來不錯，籃板需要加強。"

另外就是"阿罵得了一些分數，但是沒有一個是靠低位腳步的"

“I thought they were more aggressive than we were,’’ Woodson said. “I
thought we played one good quarter. I didn’t like anything about the second,
third and fourth quarter. Amar’e played pretty good. He got up and down the
floor. But as a unit defensively we weren’t there today. You’re going to
miss shots, but your defense has to be a constant and we weren’t there.’’
武僧說:"我認為他們打得比我們積極多了，我們第一節打得很棒，但是我不喜歡第二第三
第四節的模樣，阿罵打得不錯，但是以一個整題的防守來說，我們做得不好，你可以打鐵
但是你的防守質量是不能變爛的，而我們沒做到。"
Stoudemire likely will sit out tonight’s game in Albany against the Celtics
as a precaution. Woodson said he does not want Stoudemire to play three games
in four nights on his knee.
阿罵明天可能不會打，武僧說他不想要讓阿罵在4天裡面打到3場比賽，這樣對他膝蓋不好
“It felt great to get in the swing of things,’’ Stoudemire said. “I felt
in better shape than I thought was. My wind was great. Unfortunately we couldn
’t get a win. They made all kind of shots. They made every shot you can
possibly make.’’
阿罵說:"可以上場搖擺感覺很棒，我覺得我狀態比我想得還不錯，不幸的是我們沒辦法
取得勝利，他們進了很多種的球，他們做了很多你可能做的投籃。"
