NEW YORK – New York Knicks Executive Vice President and General Manager Glen
Grunwald announced the team has waived guard Oscar Bellfield, forwards John
Shurna and Mychel Thompson and center Henry Sims.

Bellfield, 6-2, 190-pounds, recorded two points, two rebounds and one assist
over 13 minutes in two games this preseason.

Shurna, 6-9, 220-pounds, recorded seven points and six rebounds over 43
minutes in five preseason games.

Thompson, 6-6, 205-pounds, averaged 4.7 points and 3.2 rebounds over 16.2
minutes in six preseason games (two starts).

Sims, 6-10, 245-pounds, averaged 3.2 points and 2.0 rebounds over 11.2
minutes in five preseason games (one start).

The roster stands at 15 players.
