The Knicks-Nets game, which was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy, has been

rescheduled for Nov. 26 the NBA announced today. TNT, which was scheduled to

broadcast Thursday's season opener, will televise the Nov. 26 game form

Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The two will meet again in Brooklyn on Dec. 11.

Knicks To Keep An Eye On Some Familiar NBA Hopefuls

Just days after waiving training camp invitees Mychel Thompson, Henry Sims,
John Shurna, and Oscar Bellfield, the Knicks learned they'll be able to keep
a closer eye on three of these same basketball hopefuls as the season
progresses.

With D-League teams formulating their rosters a bit in time for their own
respective training camps, the Erie BayHawks (New York's direct NBADL

training camp for their minor league squad to protect. Such a strategy makes
an immense amount of sense.

Woodson Keeps Focus on Defending James

The person with the basketball for a significant part of the Knicks’
 practice Thursday was not a player. Instead, it was Coach Mike Woodson, who
was dribbling, pointing and explaining to his team what the best player in
the N.B.A. could, and most likely would, do against them with the ball in his
hands Friday night.

For those moments, Woodson was impersonating LeBron James, the Miami Heat’s
all-everything player and last year’s N.B.A. finals most valuable player. In
one instance, Woodson dribbled into the lane and pointed to the corner, an
area that will be occupied most likely by Ray Allen, who has made the most
3-pointers in league history and was the Heat’s biggest acquisition in the
off-season.

defense should rotate to him — with Miami emerging as the Knicks'
season-opening opponent.

"I wanted to come here and help Melo get a championship," Camby said. "I know
him seeing all those guys in (his) draft class (Dwyane Wade, LeBron James,
Chris Bosh) -- he might not say it but (with) those guys getting a ring, I
know he wants one. He got one in college and he deserves one in the NBA."

Really does sound like Camby will only be used if #Knicks in foul trouble or
Rasheed is awful. Camby said, "I'll
be available,'' Camby said. "All depends on if coach wants to play me or use
me since I haven’t been out there and practicing. I still have six fouls to
use.’' Camby hasn't participated in full scrimmage since his calf injury on
the third day of training camp.
