looked vulnerable against an unlikely opponent, the Orlando Magic , who lost
to the Brooklyn Nets by 39 points last week.

Coach Mike Woodson has preached how good the club has been late in games
because of its conditioning and depth, and it proved it last night.


武僧說:"隊伍在後半段還能做得這麼棒是因為我們訓練有素跟板凳深度深不見底。"


Jason Kidd, though, reminded his teammates to stay calm. Kidd told Carmelo
Anthony and Tyson Chandler to be patient, and the Knicks started to resemble
the N.B.A.’s only unbeaten team.


老基在第四節開場時，對著尼克隊友們說:"淡定點，耐住性子"。在那之後尼克打出一波

極棒的防守，而他們也是聯盟中唯一支擁有不敗金身的球隊。


“I’ve been through a lot of fourth quarters,” Kidd said. “You can’t
panic. You just take your time and try to work for a good shot.”

In the fourth quarter, he took only four shots and focused on defense.
“He just has to keep fighting,” Coach Mike Woodson said.

The Knicks trailed by 53-49 at halftime and had been outrebounded, 25-16.

“At halftime, Coach really got on us about our defense,” J. R. Smith said.
“We played harder, we got through the screens and we closed out on shots. I
think that was the difference.”


當尼克半場落後，並且籃板慘輸的時候

The Knicks have yet to allow an opponent to score more than 40 points in the
second half.

“We have active hands,” Kidd said. “You have guys who understand where to
be on defense. Sometimes it’s not always going to be perfect, but guys were
making the second and third effort. That just comes with trust.”


尼克目前還沒讓對手在下半場得超過40分過

Despite Orlando’s 2-4 record entering the game, Woodson thought the Magic
would be competitive.

“We can’t take anyone lightly,” he said. “Some records might indicate
teams aren’t playing well, but you’re still beatable if you don’t compete.
”

武僧說:"我認為魔術還是很有競爭力的，我們不能輕視任何一個對手，有些紀錄可能會

指出這支球隊打得並不好，但是你不認真看待，那麼你還會是不堪一擊的。"


Through five games, the Knicks have not outrebounded anyone.

“Part of it is positioning on the floor,” Woodson said. “Teams are playing
more open-court basketball, so there are a lot of long shots, which makes
long rebounds. We have to get in better position when the ball is shot to get
the long rebounds.”


經過這五場，尼克暴露出籃板短缺的缺點。

武僧表示:"這是比賽的一部分，當球隊打了很多開放式的籃球，將會有很多遠距離的投籃，

But for one night, the Knicks were glad to hear the encouraging words from
Kidd in the fourth quarter.

“It’s so great to have a guy like Jason,” Anthony said, “who is so smart
and knows to take it one possession at a time.”


對於第四節老基的鼓勵，讓尼克球員們都很開心。

“Seems like the older he gets, the bigger plays he makes,’’ said Chandler,
who teamed with Kidd to win the 2011 title with the Mavericks.

Amar’e Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert traveled with the team Monday.
 Iman Shumpert made the three-game road trip, reiterating what he told The
Post last week that he expects a January — not December — return.

“I try not think about it because then I get anxious,’’ Shumpert said. “I
think about the target date as January and they say I’m on target.’’

Shumpert isn’t worried about where he’ll fit into the rotation that is
stacked already even without him and Amar’e Stoudemire. “I’m excited,’’
 Shumpert said.


阿罵跟香波隨隊來奧蘭多觀光，香波說:"他預期他會在1月歸隊"

香波:"我現在不敢去想那個，因為我真的很想打，所以我現在很焦慮，他們說我的

歸隊目標訂在1月，不過我不擔心我跟阿罵的融入問題，我很期待歸隊的!!"


“I think [coach Mike Woodson] is going to be excited, too. He’s pretty good
at that. He’s done great so far. Having that training camp, only did him
better. When me and Amar’e get back, he’ll find a way to work us in. As
long as we win, we’re happy.’

Stoudemire made his first road trip to his hometown Orlando but declined to
talk about his knee situation. He hasn’t talked publicly about basketball or
his knee since reinjuring it Oct. 19.

over the Magic at Amway Center to push the Knicks to 5-0. “He’s ready to
lead us.’’

“I think he can lead us to a championship,’’ Camby said. “He’s seen a
lot of his peers in his draft class win one and that is driving him. He got

After the win, Anthony made it clear what he wants for his Knicks.

“A championship,’’ he said calmly. “That’s the ultimate goal. We have a
long way to go. We’ve got practices, we’ve got games. We’ve got a full
season ahead of us. We’re just taking our time.’’

“He has been great since coming off the gold medal,’’ Kidd said. “You can
see his confidence and the way he is playing. He is playing off the charts
for us. The one thing people keep bringing up is can he keep it up? I don’t
even see why that’s a question. He’s doing everything that is right. It’s
a lot of fun to be around.’’

stuff, the fight in the Garden, but he has overcome all that to become one of
the most gifted basketball players in the world, but also one of the most
likeable guys with his smile and his personality,’’ Camby said.

“He’s one of us,’’ Camby added. “There is no ego in him. Even though he
is the best player on our team he always makes sure to carry himself as the
15th guy as Chris Copeland. He’s always laughing and joking and he works so
hard. That’s good when your best player is also your hardest worker.’’

“We weren’t playing hard enough,” Woodson said. “You can’t just roll the
ball out and think because their record indicates that they may not be that
good or they’re struggling as a team, any team can beat you in this league.
I tip my hat to that team.”


武僧說:"我們這場打得不夠認真，你不能只是在那邊導球，即使數據顯示對手處於不

好的狀態，但他們還是很努力在成為一支球隊，任何球隊有可能擊倒你的!!!"


“Right now, we're just at the beginning of this journey,” Kidd said.

心得


今天中間打得真的很散漫!!!! 信好我們有成熟的大男人JR幫我們HOLD住場面。

今天籃板被對方搶爆了，比較好奇的是，為什麼老錢下去，西蛙在場上籃板被搶爆的時候

武僧仍堅持不擺CAMBY跟KT呢?


肥頓:最近蠻常看到想跟老錢配合，雖然前面幾球都灌失敗了，據球評說前面幾球都有點

傳得太高了，太前面，所以害老錢沒接好，但是他後面兩球就修正過來了，看好之後的

配合會越來越好。


瓜:比賽中期不回防，進攻亂打，真是太糟糕了，賣胖還賣輸大寶貝!!!不過第四節的防守

很棒優>.^


JR:太令我感動了...這兩場的JR都是在大家不順的時候跳出來...我們家的JR甚麼時候這

麼會打逆風球了Q^Q


老錢:第一顆進球就是老錢的罰球線跳投!!!太棒拉!!!!再練穩一點的話~阿罵回歸根本不

是問題啊!!!!!


西蛙:狗屁三分! 可惜最近一直沒進~!


說到防守，尼克現在的防守似乎都是站對方的傳球路線中間，而不是盯人，蠻有趣的~
