Mike Woodson revealed Thursday how he managed to motivate the Knicks
following Mike D’Antoni’s resignation last March.

武僧在週四說明他是如何在今年三月冷笑話辭去後鼓勵尼克隊員.

He “scared them into playing.”

他讓他們一邊打球一邊嚇的皮皮挫.

“I had some things that I had to get off my chest being back in the driver’
s seat as the head coach,” Woodson said before his conference-leading Knicks
(17-5) easily defeated D’Antoni’s struggling Lakers at the Garden, 116-107.

going to hold mostly accountable, which was (Carmelo Anthony), Amar’e
(Stoudemire) and Tyson (Chandler) at that particular time.”

The Knicks bowed to the Miami Heat in a five-game first-round playoff series
last spring, but with an offseason to soak in Woodson’s expectations and
demands, the team seems to have responded.

尼克在春季第一輪與熱火的季後賽比賽甘拜下風,但進攻方法在武僧期望與要求下
整個團隊似乎都有所回應.

“They kind of knew where I was coming from,” Woodson said. “They bought in
and we’ve been playing some pretty good basketball since then. So that’s
all I can attribute it to I guess. Maybe I scared them into playing, I don’t
know.”

Woodson, however, did not want to hear from those claiming that he has
succeeded where D’Antoni failed before stepping down on March 14.

“I’m not gonna go there, man,” Woodson said. “The bottom line is when I
took over the team, we went in another direction. . . . Every guy that we
brought in here I thought were all defensive-minded guys, and all knew how to
play.”

Woodson meanwhile, insisted he retained a significant amount of D’Antoni’s
system while adding his own tweaks, such as making Anthony the focal point.
Under D’Antoni, the offense was being run through the since-departed Jeremy
Lin.

武僧堅稱他保留大部分冷笑話留下來的系統,只小加了自己的想法,譬如說把戰術
焦點轉換成瓜瓜.在冷笑話系統裡,進攻系統是由已經離開的揪咪林執行的.

“I didn’t abandon his offense,” Woodson said. “I’ve taken his offense
and I’ve added. We’re still playing open basketball, trying to give guys
the freedom to play.

"我沒有丟棄他的進攻系統,"武僧說."我借走了他的方法,加了點我自己的想法而已.
我們還是在打開放式籃球,給大家自由,有球就打."

“I’ve used a lot of my offense but I’ve also taken his offense and I’ve
tried to expand it. In some things I like to run, like double pick-and-rolls,
and triples, and misdirection plays and things of that nature. . . . I like
everything about Mike’s offense,” Woodson said. “I really do.”

"我用了很多自己的戰術,也使用了他的戰術.我試著以此當原點繼續發展,找些我喜
歡執行的東西,例如雙層拆檔,三層拆檔,誤導戰術跟些類似的..我喜歡冷老所有的進
攻方式,真的."
