What we get now are glimpses. Peeks. Teases. The Knicks are not yet whole,
not yet complete, won’t be whole for at least a month, and that’s assuming
nobody else spends any quality time inside an MRI tube between now and the
time the cast comes off Raymond Felton’s hand.

Still, we get snippets that look like movie trailers, that sound like one
musician sampling another’s work. Last night we got the Knicks steamrolling
the Spurs in the second half, snapping San Antonio’s seven-game winning
streak with a decisive 100-83 throttling. It was their fourth game in five
nights, but the Spurs weren’t asking for asterisks.

But you can’t just do that against the elite teams if you want to be
considered elite. You have to play that way against teams you’re supposed to
beat, too.”

“It was like starting the season all over tonight, where guys were in the
right places and guys were talking,” Jason Kidd said. “We were making the
extra effort.”

For Melo, a fair percentage of that included trying to get the other
franchise cornerstone untracked. Amar’e Stoudemire is still a shadow of
himself but Anthony kept feeding him the ball, kept encouraging him, and so
did the Garden. New York is not always the most patient place, and the Garden
isn’t always the easiest gym in which to play your way into shape.

Still, the 19,003 in the house greeted all 10 points and both his rebounds
the way a college fieldhouse usually erupts when the walk-ons crack the
boxscore.

“It’s going to come,” Stoudemire insisted.

瓜今晚無私地把球丟給其他人，阿罵還沒走出傷痛陰霾，但是瓜仍舊不斷地把球餵給他，

不斷地鼓勵他，同時，MSG也同樣的在為阿罵加油，紐約一向是沒耐心的代表，所以MSG

對於那些想走出陰霾的球員來說，可不是甚麼好地方。

不過現在，有19003人在為這位只拿到10分兩板的大前鋒加油。

阿罵堅稱:"遲早會回來的"


“They’ll be fine together,” Knicks coach Mike Woodson insisted, as he has
from the moment he was hired. “They’ve both played at a high level in this
league. They’ll figure it out.”

每個尼克迷心中都會對瓜罵能不能共存感到疑惑

武僧對此堅稱:"他們是可以共存的，他們都是在聯盟打出高水準的球員，他們會解決問題的"


"Camby starting really helped us from a defensive standpoint. He was solid,''
Woodson said.

"I still believe they're the best team in the league," Woodson said of the
Spurs (26-9), who had won seven straight before Thursday night. "We played
great. We beat a damn good ballclub tonight. We were pretty good."

“I thought we were slacking over the last 10 games,” Knicks coach Mike

to show our players based on how we started the season.”

“If you can play that way against the San Antonio Spurs, you can play that
way against anybody,” said Chandler, who had 10 points and a game-high 14

“I would venture to say they’re the best, offensively. They’re not going
to beat themselves.”

“Our first half, I thought we started out the game sticking to our script,
getting back to the way we were playing 10-15 games ago,” Anthony said. “

for the first time this season in place of Kurt Thomas. “When he senses the
game is going the other way, he will pull his players out just to prevent
those guys from getting injuries. We knew going into the fourth quarter that
if we could extend our lead, he would insert his bench.”

"It was better," Stoudemire said. "I was definitely more comfortable
defensively after watching so much film. Offensively, it’s going to come.
That’s going to come with repetition.

"I played 20 minutes today, which is four minutes more than I played last
game," Stoudemire added. "I got a little bit tired out there. I feel that I’
m in better shape than I thought I would be at this point."

Plus, his teammates are looking to get Stoudemire involved.

"I thought he played an excellent game tonight," Tyson Chandler said. "Not
only in the offensive game and finishing, he did a lot better defensively."

阿罵今晚打了20分鐘

阿罵表示:"我感覺更棒了，我在防守上越來越舒服了，我看了超多關於防守的影片，

至於進攻，遲早會回來的，遲早會重新找回來的。"

"我今天打了20分鐘囉，比我之前多打了4分鐘，我今天是感到有點累啦，但我覺得我的狀態

又變得更好了，還比我之前想得還要好喔~"

老錢表示:"我覺得阿罵今晚打得很不錯啊，不只是在進攻上，他今晚的防守也做得不錯。"

"I’m not going there," Woodson said. "I think Mike D’Antoni is a great
coach and he does a lot of wonderful things on both ends of the floor."
Amar'e is entitled to his opinion, but I think every coach in this league is
a great coach.It's not an easy job by no means.''

另外武僧對於阿罵說防守教練的那件事:"恩...我認為冷哥是個很棒的教練，他在場上做了

很多很棒的事情，不管是進攻還防守。阿罵有它自己的看法，但我認為在聯盟中的每個教練

都是偉大的教練，這可不是一個輕鬆的工作啊。"

Woodson was asked if he resents being labeled a defensive coach because some
of his colleagues believe he runs a good offense.

“I would like to think I’m OK,’’ Woodson said. “I’m not the best
defensive coach, but I feel good about putting defensive schemes together.
The good year we had the last year in Atlanta we were in the top 10 in
defense and top three in terms of offense. Anytime you put yourself in that
position, you win your share of games. I feel good about teaching both ends
of the court.’’

至於問到武僧被人說是個防守取向的教練感想如何

武僧:"痾...我覺得OK阿，但我可不是最好的防守教練，但我只是制定出一個防守計畫而已

之前我在老鷹的時候把進攻跟防守都帶進聯盟前十呢，任何時候你把自己放進那個位子

你就會贏得你該贏的比賽，我對於在場上教導進攻跟防守感到很棒!!。"


“I think it’s great,” D’Antoni said Thursday after the Los Angeles Lakers
’ practice. “I think it’s great that he’s listening. He might have
forgotten that Mike Woodson was also running the defense the last year I was
there, so I don’t know if he just didn’t pick that year to listen. But Amar
’e’s great. Sometimes you say things, but hopefully, that’s another step
he can take forward and help his game. That would be great.”

對於阿罵的亂講話，冷哥回嘴:"我覺得那很棒啊，我覺得他說的那些話很棒，不過他可能

忘了武僧去年可是我們的防守教練阿，所以我不知道他是怎麼去看待那一年的，不過阿罵

真的很棒，有時候你說的那些東西，希望那可以幫助他更進一步，那將會是很棒的。"
