After Anthony converted the free throw, the Knicks staved off Atlanta’s
last-gasp chance to secure a 106-104 win Sunday night at Madison Square
Garden.

“It was just a matter of not letting [Atlanta forward] Josh Smith set his
feet, not let the Hawks set their feet,” Anthony said in the postgame locker
room. “I knew he was probably banking on me holding the ball for the last
shot.”

But Anthony did not hold for last shot. He attacked the basket. He went right

“He took what the defense gave him,” said Knicks point guard Raymond
Felton. “Josh Smith kind of lifted his legs up a little bit and [Anthony]
attacked the back leg, got to the basket and got the and-one.”

“He needed a breakout,” said Knicks coach Mike Woodson. “He’s been
scoring, but he just hasn’t been shooting at a high rate. Tonight I couldn’
t rest him. I’ve been riding him in the third and fourth quarter, and he
came up big with big shots. It was nice to see.”

bounce back and put that game behind us so fast. That’s the joy of this
league.”

great job of finishing games for us, closing it out, hitting big shots."

He had one thing in mind this night: "Be aggressive," Felton said. "For sure,

"Those are the shots that he was making early in the year," Mike Woodson

have to always depend on Melo to bail us out."

opportunities if you're not playing," Steve Novak said, adding that the whole
team is pleased to have Felton back. "He's just such a dangerous player out
there the way he gets into the paint and causes problems for the defense. I
think all the guys on the perimeter benefit when he's out there, and I think
that's his greatest strength."

The Knicks looked as if they’d never seen a pick and roll in their lives.
They didn’t hustle out to the perimeter, didn’t switch off quickly enough
to confront the jumper.

“Hey, we shot 54%, just one of those games,” Mike Woodson said, finding
reason for optimism. “We made plays when we had to make them.”

Maybe Anthony can’t do this every night, can’t make up for terribly porous
defense and an erratic backcourt. But he made up for it on Sunday, and then
some.
That doesn’t mean the Knicks are completely over the hump, back on track.
“We’ll look at the tape,” Tyson Chandler said, about the defensive lapses.
“There are things we’ve got to fix.”

但瓜可不是每晚都能這樣拯救球隊，尼克得要想辦法解決那悲劇般的防守。

“We were taking pride (in defense) at the start of the season,” Woodson
said. “We’ve got to get back to that. We don’t always have to depend on
Melo to bail us out.”

“Wide open,” Anthony said. “He was wide open.”

“Not my favorite kind of game,” Tyson Chandler, who knows offensive defense
when he sees it, said later on.

老錢表示:"今天這場可不是我喜歡的那種比賽..."


補充小花絮:瓜說他今天那個T是因為當時臉被打了3次!!3次!!! 瓜是這樣強調的。


Initially, Stoudemire made two poor defensive plays, allowing Zaza Pachulia
and Al Horford to slip behind him for easy finishes. But with 6:18 left in
the game, STAT made his mark in multiple ways.
A few plays later, Stoudemire grabbed an offensive rebound after Anthony
missed a short jumper, and got fouled and made both foul shots. Then, after a
Smith miss, STAT kept the possession alive with another offensive board, and
later, he scrapped for a loose ball.

今天阿罵的防守有點慘，不過他之後靠著瓜瓜的打鐵搶到一些進攻籃板，在之後JR打鐵

阿罵也很積極的去搶進攻籃板。


After the game, Mike Woodson said he's been impressed with the effort from
Stoudemire, who tallied 18 points and eight rebounds in 29 minutes.

"He's been active the last four or five games in terms of when the shot goes
up. He's able to get it and score," the coach said. "We just have to continue
to ride him and push him in the right direction. He's so curious and anxious
defensively in trying to do the right thing, and that's very encouraging."

賽後，武僧表示他對阿罵今天積極的留下很深的印象。

武僧:"阿罵在最近這幾場出手數變多後，越來越活耀了，他可以得分，我們得要讓它繼續走

What's also been encouraging is Stoudemire's low-post game. He's been
consistently showing a quick first step, strong dribbling and sharp spin
moves -- sometimes even finishing with his opposite (left) hand. His improved
back-to-the-basket playmaking has given the Knicks another free-throw threat,
especially late in games. He was 6-for-8 from the line on Sunday.

另外武僧也稱讚阿罵的低位。


"There’s going to be more of that," Stoudemire said. "We’re just getting
started."

今天阿罵跟肥頓重新配合，還展現了一個不錯的PLAY－肥頓切小傳球給阿罵單手爆扣。

阿罵說:"之後還會有更多這種表現的拉，我們才正要開始呢~"


Still, Stoudemire -- and the team for that matter -- has much work to do with
guarding pick-and-rolls. They allowed another opposing starting point guard
(Jeff Teague) to go off and the Hawks to shoot 60 percent. Defense is where
Stoudemire, along with his finishing teammates -- Felton, Smith, Anthony and
Tyson Chandler -- can make an even bigger impact down the stretch.

只是阿罵跟尼克還是要好好再磨練一下防守。

心得

我是從第二節中間才開始看得，前面就沒看到了

肥頓:今天還不錯，雖然最後還是有猶豫一下，是可以更果斷點直接投阿，畢竟你是大空檔
硬傳不是好事。

JR:今天防守很積極，可惜有個快攻放槍XDD，可以打得更沉穩一點。

老普:最近三分越來越準囉!!!!!!老基休息就靠你了!!!

至於防守，老錢跟肥頓對擋拆沒溝通好，而第二線的阿罵跟瓜也沒做好協防的工作，還要
多多溝通阿。

另外就是進攻，今天無球掩護有回來一些了，但我看到有幾幕很有趣，就是老錢跟阿罵有
時候會站再一起，然後老錢一直指點阿罵該去哪裡SCREEN，阿罵還會回頭問個幾句。
最有趣的是有一次JR還是瓜剛好拖著防守者跑到他們這邊，他們兩個很有默契地手牽手幫
瓜SCEEN。

進攻跑位那些大概也還要磨吧，畢竟香波跟阿罵都是後來才插進來的，應該還沒熟悉。
